What video format did your camera record in. And what format did you convert it to, in order to upload to youtube, in this good of quality?

Thanks! It was recorded on Canon 5D2 which produces 1080p baseline@L5 H.264 stream (YUV 4:2:0). After post production the version here was downsampled/encoded to 720p high@L4.1 stream via x264 H.264 encoder (+ AAC encoding, muxing and the works) and then uploaded to Youtube (I recall the bitrate was 10Mbps, with 2pass encode, using insane quality on x264). I hope this was helpful!

What kind of gear were you using to shoot this? The footage is pristine.

Thanks! Its shot with Canon 5D2, ambient light only. Lens was Canon 24mm 2.8 prime in Ikelite housing with a baby dome port.

Thanks! :) The logs from the know-it-all machine tell 58-66F (or 14-18C for the rest of the world) - pretty pleasent! Wintertime it will get a bit colder!
