  • What was the name of the white sharpie one that you used at the end? You did an amazing job! I just started using copics and am excited to stamp & color using your technique :)

  • Can you use prismacolor markers like copic markers?

  • @princesskeikyo25 any alcohol markers can be used in the same way--it just changes the colors you mihgt use or combine to get something similar.

  • please do a drawing tutorial on those cute little people :)

  • @dadoo173 I don't draw those images, they are made by Magnolia Sweden as rubber stamps!! Thanks!

  • Suzanne, your tutorials are so wonderful - they have helped me out alot. I was wondering what is the best way to learn what copic colors work well together? I mean, I dont want to relie on others work color combo.

  • @RegretfulxBeauty Thank you very much! You can find some resources on my classroom that list all the Copic colors that work well together, all the different combos. Its easy to buy copics that don't work together and then waste money. Go to scrapbitz (dot) ning (dot) com for all the info!

  • There's almost 200 of these markers! Sheez...But nice though. :)

  • Love your puppy dogs!

  • My colorless blender ruins my drawing :( I thought it was used to get rid of the lines between color transitions but it just smired and ruined it.

  • Where do I buy copic pens and are they sold individually or only in kits? thanks

  • @bonnesinger They can be sold individually, either copic sketch or copic markers.

  • @bonnesinger They can be sold individually. You can buy them at some art stores but there aren't that many, ut if you are lucky enough your local art store may have them. Otherwise you can buy them online

  • Another really WONDERFUL video, Suzanne! You make this look so easy (a sign of a really good teacher) - I've learned so much from your tutorials...and I really appreciate that I can come back for a review if I need to ~ Keep them coming...please? Thanks so much!!!

  • Thank you so much for the tutorial! For months I have considered investing in Copic pens but have been scared to pour so much money into them and then not know how to use them. After watching your video a feel a little more confident. I just wish they were not so darn expensive.

    Thank you

  • I've never used copic markers before. I love your color!! I might buy some copic markers, but I have to think about it. Because it's very pricey to me!!!

  • Your work is awesome and your explanations are very clear. Thanks so much.

  • thx so much xx

  • I love your draws they are too cute and the way you paint them its so cool

  • Wow so copic markers are like water-based right? Too expensive for me lol. I'll probably buy some when I get a job...

  • Suzanne,

Thank you so much I just purchased the copic pens. I have not opened the pens and thought I would go online and learn about the pens. Your tutorial was great.

  • Does the Sharpie Paint marker work like white out? I don't know if it's thicker or if that matters.

(I love how your dogs always bark on your videos... Maybe they want to be in it. Haha.)

  • Quick question: Which Copic colours would be best for a very pale skin colour? Up until now, I've been using E30, E31, and 340. Are there any better options, or more shades I can add?

  • Thanks so much for these tutorials. You have helped me alot. Just wanted to let you know :)

  • how much are those markers and wha r they called

  • cool

  • I love all your videos - thank you for sharing your knowledge and talent with us!

  • when coloring, do you face any problems with blotches like... when coloring you cant blend the coloring looks really weird?? and how do you learn all those uh..'techniques' when coloring your picture?

  • what's the name of those pencils?

i don't want a number like E000 or somethingXXD just the name of them so i can buy it :p

  • @annemontess copic markers

  • lol that's an easy name XD

  • what kind of ink pad & paper do you use? It seems when I color the face, the eyebrows and eyes will smear a bit.

  • You need to use a good ink like Memento black or Adirondack Pitch Black and a good heavy paper. I use Gina K's luxury cs in 120 lb weight or a Neenah cardstock. Staz-on, SU, Brilliance, Distress inks will all smear with copics

  • Wownderful tutorial.

  • Great video, thank you!

Would you mind sharing what kind of paper you use? I've used marker paper, but it tends to show the strokes because the ink just sits on top. Printer paper bleeds horribly, but then think paper seems to absorb too much! Any suggestions for a happy-medium?

  • What her very first video she shares what paper she uses.

  • I use Gina K's Luxury cs in 120 lb weight and/or Couture Cardstock's "One Sheet Wonder", both I highly recommend

  • I just ordered a 36 set of copics and I was looking forward to coloring in skin for some of my images, but the set came with just R02. Other than the E00, E000, E11, and E21, what other colors do you suggest for an olive-skinned or a yellower complextion?

  • For olive colored skin I use E00 & E11 and then add in E53 & E42 to create a darker olive shadow to the skin!

  • Thank you so much for the advice! :)

  • hello, I just bought copic ciao basic color but i cant used it in the face & skin tone. Do i need to buy another set for blending & for skin tone? Pls help me i really to try this.Thank you very much

  • your dog made my dog bark...he he

  • Do you ever-or would you ever suggest-embossing over the tamped image with clear super fine embossing powders to help avoid bleeding??

  • I have never done this, but I know alot of people do & have success with it, so it is definitely do-able!

  • plz help me, i draw manga and anime, should i ask for copic markers for my birthday? its just they r RLLY expensive on this manga site called MangaUniversity and u get 72 colours in a pack and a pack is like £270 and i wanna know where u got THOSE COPIC MARKERS UR USING IN THIS TUTORIAL!
