It has no viral lineage. Other viruses have a slight variation from year to year. As if they are evolving...which they do. this virus is a combo of many viruses. A molecular jump like this is like human's growing to 20ft tall in the 2020's. I just saw a little girl who whipped this thing here in Eugene!

This virus is not bad enough to kill most folks. I for one am not scared of this virus at all. From what I've gathered it is a relatively mild version of the flu. The scary part is that it is obviously engineered and not a naturally occuring virus!

Why do you think they never want to exercise control of the borders? It seems to me that this would be a good time to shut the borders down. But that's just me.

When I wrote the comment about shutting down the borders, the media and the government were telling us that the swine flu was a pandemic. Under that scenario, I think it would be wise to shut the border for a couple of days until we know what we are dealing with.

Government is constantly telling us that its number 1 job is to "protect the american people." If that is true, then what better way to protect us than to minimize the number of new cases entering from Mexico. Their actions however speak loudly as to the emptiness of their claim.

The short term cost seems mild compared to saving potentially thousands of people from sickness and/or death (under the false scenario of pandemic that was presented to us),
The government should take action to stop ILLEGAL immigration under ALL scenarios. The failure to do so also demonstrates that their claims to protect us are empty rhetoric.
