Actually, level 60 raids in comparison to now is a lot more primitive and basic. The reason they were so "hard" was because you had a lot more clickers and people who didn't understand the game. Even in naxx 40, many people had little ideas on how to play their class and clicked/keyboard turned. Level 60 in comparison to now in terms of raiding was terrible. All rose-tinted glasses.
@whitewer alot less abilities that incredibly punishing like they have now on the live servers. cracking 800 DPS on a boss by a mage back then was considered the best you could do. nowadays a mage can crack 800 dps just wanding =D

One mistake could easily cause a wipe back in the day, such as an incorrect rotation of Tranq shots on Magamadar would cause the enrage to go on for even a few seconds, causing the tanks to get face rolled by the boss.

frost nova is bad in this rotation, hes using CoC aoe grinding strategy, basically with talents it freezes them for longer then CoC CD and slows them for over 50%, so all you do is walk backwards spamming CoC very easy and efficient strategy for mage, frost nova is better kept in reserve if some monster resists.
Argueing about horde and alliance? True alliance, PRE TBC use to have the younger players, but that dosent define skill, lol. now TBC horde have a lot more, BElfs changed that majorly.

interesting turn on this technique. My alt mage is lvl 51 and I have been rocking 59,000 exp per hour pulling the entire lvl 50-51 side of WPL near Chillwind Camp in three pulls. one in five pulls I get boned and have to run for it but AOE as frost mage is AMAZING! I plan on doing it in WPL/EPL all the way to 60 just to see how fast I can do it. Then it's off to the buzzards in HFP!
I'm so confused... wouldn't it be better to nova the mobs, blink, and hit them 2x with blizzard? Wouldn't that drop them much faster? Not to mention more mana efficient? That's what I do, anyway.

Actually raids like Naxx, back in the day were incredibly hard. It was due to the fact, that you had a few things:
1. Massively piled buffs such as flasks, and would have to pot, tuber, snapdragon and such
2. Could only really use certain specs, not like today, there were no boomkins, no ret pallys,etc.
Even the good guilds took longer then to clear a boss than it does today.

Argueing about horde and alliance? True alliance, PRE TBC use to have the younger players, but that dosent define skill, lol. now TBC horde have a lot more, BElfs changed that majorly.

imma jsut say one thing about alliance that i really cant stand. you cannot fight 1v1. its always a big gang bang with you. and yes he could solo the mobs if he was 60... its called kiting nub

This fella has some skillz because that was made in 2006, which means that there wasnt Burning Crusade-expansion, so he is only lvl60, and ZG is lvl60 raid.
This is same as farming lvl80 Naxxramas thrash these days.

Yeah, except most of the trash mobs in more recent raids are immune to frost nova and snares.

people are really retarded u obviously see he is alone u need a raid group just to enter it and this guy rocks this is before tbc so only level 60 with level 60 gear and frost nova has a chance to break some mobs earlier and u need to keep them all packed together and conserving mana as much as possible.

interesting turn on this technique. My alt mage is lvl 51 and I have been rocking 59,000 exp per hour pulling the entire lvl 50-51 side of WPL near Chillwind Camp in three pulls. one in five pulls I get boned and have to run for it but AOE as frost mage is AMAZING! I plan on doing it in WPL/EPL all the way to 60 just to see how fast I can do it. Then it's off to the buzzards in HFP!

I'm so confused... wouldn't it be better to nova the mobs, blink, and hit them 2x with blizzard? Wouldn't that drop them much faster? Not to mention more mana efficient? That's what I do, anyway.
