First, between Trona and Ridgecrest there aren't any wind turbines. The closest wind turbines are over near Tehachapi, 50 miles away.

Second, they show the guy driving toward the Trona Pinnacles -- which are on a dirt road miles from the paved road south of Trona -- and in the next shot he's back on a paved road.

i drove through trona in 2002, and i had never smelt anything so bad in all my life. it was AWFUL. i tried covering my nose, and even that couldn't stop the foul odors.
