Absolutely spot on. Technique is a beautiful thing to watch, but much like there is a difference between a 'painter' and an 'artist', there is a difference between a 'player' and a 'musician'.

There are some amazingly talented players, but many of them aren't 'musicians'. When a musicians passionate heart, creative mind and expressive soul is developed in conjunction with high level playing technique, you get a Paco, a Don Ross, etc. Rare, true genius.

@zAKkNoruM una pequeña matización: es verdad que el cajón es de origen peruano, pero desde que Paco lo introdujo en el flamenco hace ya más de 30 años, dejó de ser un "instrumento peruano" para convertirse en un instrumento universal. Este tipo de cosas (incorporar instrumentos de diferentes regiones y culturas al flamenco y al jazz) es lo que han hecho de Paco un grande y un revolucionario, y no sólo su genialidad para tocar la guitarra y crear arte sin igual.

Una cosa es aplaudir, que es lo que haces tu cuando ves a los jonas brothers y otra es saber dar palmas, lo que precisa una amplia formación en complejo mundo flamenco. Dominar todos los palos o ritmos, ademas se atrave con cualquier instrumento de percusion y a bailar. Eso que tu llamas aplaudir requiere unas habilides innatas y preparacion, tardarias años en tocar la mitad de bien que , suponiendote aptitudes
