And why do a few big businesses succeed at the expense of smaller businesses? Because government favors the big and powerful. If you care about small business, then logically you must also support small government.

Without government intervention the free market loses its freedom. A few strong private companies dominate the market and take away freedom from the smaller ones. With health care it is different than with cars: if a car company makes a bad automobile then the consumer stops buying it, if the health care industry makes a bad product PEOPLE DIE.

The marxist MYTH of few companies dominating only occurs from an EXCESS of regulation, never from a lack of regulation. All monopolization is the result of excessive government favoritism. Less regulation is the answer to the problem of government corruption.

Anything to an extreme is a problem. Like I said, the more a few big businesses succeed, the less room there is for smaller businesses.
Capital flow is a good thing because it allows people to freely invest. But as soon as there is a better opportunity the investors can pull everything out, and that damages the people originally invested in. And then a large portion of the economy becomes psychology, as soon as investors get scared they pull out and the economy crashes.

I think the difference between u is that you envision an evil government, while I envision a benevolent one.
You look at the people as virtuous, and the government as the predators. I see the government as a referee of vicious human nature.
Government is supposed to level the playing field. It is supposed to make sure people behave right. Without laws and regulation human life becomes, as Thomas Hobbes once put it: "...poor, solitary, nasty, brutish and short."

Government will never spend your money as well as you would spend your own money. And yet government insists on stealing from you to fund government spending. Social contract theory states that society may agree to allow the government to handle certain responsibilities and spend to fulfill ONLY these specific responsibilities. Under our Constitution, healthcare is NOT one of these responsibilities of the federal government. Therefore govt spending on healthcare is stealing and illegitimate.

Do you have any Idea what those responsibilities are? I don't know every nuance of the constitution but the essence of social contract theory is that you surrender certain natural freedoms to the body politic, and the freedoms you get in return by far outweigh the surrendered freedom. The freedom of knowing all people get health car, far surpasses the surrendered 3% in taxes that you surrender.

they do NOT "give it back". They run a corrupt vote-buying scheme, bribing you with your own money. Therefore the entire taxation and redistribution scheme is entirely evil (if it is not SPECIFICALLY authorized in the constitution).
The freedom of making your own healthcare decisions is INFINITELY better than being a slave to a government theft and redistribution scheme.

What do you think the government does with the money that they "steal"? Do you drive on roads? Does your garbage get picked up at your curb? If you're robbed, do you call the cops?You see, you do get the money back in the form of services.
The redistribution is very slight. Are you afraid rich people will only be able to afford one more yacht, instead of two?
And you still do have health choice, it's just that there is a government funded one for the poor.

Christian morality includes YOU SHALL NOT STEAL. Therefore Christian morality condemns any attempts to grow government. Smaller government that does nothing more than the specific authorized activities in the Constitution is obligatory. Anything more is theft.
If the government spends ONE DIME on health care, it is STEALING and it is WRONG.
ALL HEALTHCARE MUST BE PRIVATE.
Government has no right to spend one dime of taxpayer money on healthcare; not one dime.

But Jesus said if a man asks for you cloak, give him your robe as well. He told the tale of the good samaratan who helped the injured man with no desire for anything in return.

No no, I did. He actually didn't specify weather it should be private or not. It is assumed that it would be private, but you want to legislate other aspects of your faith. You shy away from stem cell research because you believe that a soul is formed at conception. You legislate most of the ten commandments, Thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not kill. You don't leave that kind of morality up to the private sector, so why charity?
Jesus was a socialist, you can't argue with that.

All charity MUST be private. If the individual gives, then it is charity. If the government steals and redistributes the stolen plunder, it is not charity, it is THEFT.

Capitalism is the protection of private property; private property is an inalienable right; therefore capitalism is good.
Socialism is the theft of private property; stealing is evil; therefore socialism is evil.
We are morally required to support good and oppose evil. Therefore we are morally required to support capitalism and morally required to oppose socialism.
This is so self-explanatory even a brainwashed liberal should be able to understand the indisputable truth.

What you need to prove is that Private property is a priori a good thing.
When things are public, they are protected by the law, and owned by the people.
Lets look at it this way: When slavery was abolished, the freeing of the slaves was taking away private property from the plantation owners; do you want to argue that that was evil?
Would you say things like air, mountains and the rivers should be privately owned? No, everyone on the planet should have a right to those things.

If you refuse to claim private property as an inalienable right, you will always be a slave. Private property is, by definition, your property. So, no, no one needs to prove their right to private property. These rights are self-evident unless and until some tyrants substantiates their right to steal the property away.
Private property is absolutely an inalienable right (see John Locke and Thomas Jefferson). Capitalism is unambiguously good and socialism is unambiguously evil.
