I have tyler perry movies in my house. this movie is really interesting it comforts my heart how in a serious relationship the communication is very important for the couple, no matter what country you from love is love for better or worse, it show a real exemple of marriage some people take marriage for granted. Marriage is not given to everybody because it's difficult to handle and has a lot of responsibilities, i am getting married next summer in 2012.
this is another colorstruck movie produced by another colorstrucked black man-tyler perry: The bad person/husband is darkskin while the good man/gentleman who comes to redeem her is a lightskin man.black people please pay attention to the inner hatred being displayed by blk producers and casting directors.stop paying money to see the movies of blk people who have a certain hatred for the race cause their movies are very demeaning to our people
@vernontrumpet2000 to bad the man that hurt her and the man she ended up marrying at the end of the movie are the same complexion (unless ppl nowadays consider lightskin to be brown then i guess yes) so this in no way shape or form have anything to do with skin color. As a matter of fact none of his movies have anything to do with the color of the mans skin soo just please sit down thank you ;)!
@MissTamera94 babydoll.just pay close attention to his movies and trust me you will see colorism played out. I became keenly aware of subconcious colorism amoung us 8yrs ago when I started selling black figurines, after discovering that my lighter complexioned figurines were selling much faster amoung my black customers than my darker ones I knew we as a ppl had a problem.2 make sure it wasnt my imagination ,i compared notes with mygirlfriend who sold in another area and she agreed
@MissTamera94 i will say though that the only group who doesnt have a plb with colorism is lightskin females.they were indiscriminate in buying my figurines and their behavior in black group settings reflected this far more positive attitude.the people who are the most colorstruck are paperbag brown blacks particularly women of this group
