Not a Christian, and really think a lot of Christian music sucks musically. But Flyleaf lyrically and musically are just perfect...this is what music should be like no matter what you believe. And it gives me so much respect for what they believe as well. I love this song.
I find it amazing that a 20 year old "remembers the days" (if there were such days) when no one talked about the meanings of songs. That's a bunch of idiocy. Besides, if you stand for nothing, you'll fall for anything, so it's good to actually find music that shares your values, no matter what they are, instead of just listening because it "sounds cool." wow this is so powerful, I listened to this song for awhile, and when I realized its a christian song, I really felt like it was Jesus speaking through the song....I almost broke into tears, it really is holy and powerful. Jesus is love and understanding.

Well have you picked up a bible. I would reccomend to start reading in the New Testament. You have to have Faith. If you go back into the "scientific" history all of the events listed in the Bible actually happened. The Bible doesn't teach you to hate other religions. @Summoner455 actually it means literally "remember to die", not "remember you will die" or "remember your mortaility", though the implications are essentially the same.
@120chico i did learn "remember you will die" from a series of unfortunate events book, though the mistranslation technicality always bugged me--mori is not a future tense verb.
random fact: as a deponent, it has no way of forming a passive periphrastic with the fut. pass. part, + est, so "must die" has to be "debeo mori."
