@Elshi3400 No. That's not how the Counter Force works.
And... Counter Guardians never take physical form and fight shit themselves. They are an invisible force which forcefully changes and guides the path of fate.

@sasukeuchiha1204 Well, no. The core of Osiris was created by Sion and it is using her to model itself on, but, strictly speaking, it's a separate entity.
It's a system that Sion created based on her observations of TATARI in order to predict future events (and as a sort of gift to Atlas so they would let her back in and quit trying to punish her).
IIRC, I actually tried on like one of the rounds in here (I know I have in several of my Melty Blood videos to date), but I've never been successful. I am mostly only successful at Last Arcs against human opponents (attack rhythm is actually usually more predicable than AI), and... my preview window when recording is so tiny that I can barely see what my opponent is doing here anyway, lol.
And the game makes her out to be a total badass, which she is.
The only character I've played through Arcade mode with (I've used about 2/3 of them) that has her included normally is Neco-Arc. For Neco-Arc, Ryougi is the final boss on her B route (note Neco-Arc is the only character with 2 distinct routes, though Riesbyfe has different events in the middle which occur randomly, too many to possibly get on one play-through).
It is possible to tell the difference immediately. The B route, which is more common, has Kohaku as the first enemy, and the A route has Kohaku & Mech-Hisui as the first enemy. Beating the A route is the key to unlock Kohaku & Mech-Hisui as a playable character.
Otherwise, with any other character short of Ryougi herself, she appears with a message, "Re-Calculation Interrupted Now - Here Comes a New Challenger" between matches 7 and 8, depending how many perfects you have before then.
If you have at least one or two (depends a bit on score as well), and you haven't lost once, she appears in Crescent Moon Style, her normal self, yet still with an AI clearly superior to any other character. If you have 4 or more, she appears in Eclipse Style, which is essentially boss mode.
Eclipse Style is reserved otherwise for all enemies except one in Boss Rush Mode. The only character playable with Eclipse is Archetype-Earth, the final and by far hardest to unlock character.
Yeah, I can understand the dialogue half the time so long as they aren't talking too fast.
As for written Japanese, however, I only understand two words: "Yes" and "No."
Which I actually was forced to learn like 10 or 15 years ago when playing a Japanese Dragon Ball Z RPG on the original Gameboy (other than those two words, I just memorized which choice got me where rather than meaning to make it through). And it stuck.
is Shiki a Counter Guardian here? o-o

you only had to win once against osiris, but osiris had two fight counter things under her name....
dajamsteryo 7 months ago
@dajamsteryo Yeah, fact, Osiris has to beat you in 2 rounds, but you only have to win 1 round. Everyone knows this.

They should make Blazblue vs. Melty Blood or something. LOLZ

I'm a big fan of the Melty Blood games I only started playing Act Cardenza for PC. I really want to play this one. Damn I need a Japanese PS2.

Wow. Who is "Dust of Osris"? I never heard of that character anywhere.

It's also a boss character in this game, lol.

@XerBlade So it's all done with her etherlite ability?
UkyoKuonji2010 2 years ago
Well, no.
Also, her etherlite is not an ability, it is a tool.

the line for
"weren't u brought here as a safeguard to kill the tatari"
is supposed to be
"weren't you brought here by the Counter Force to kill the Tatari?"

Noted. Yeah, I suck. -_-

Whoa, that's cool; When you're in Blood Heat the time count freezes.

you seem to like Blood Heat. you should try to whip out some Last Arc action.

Ryougi's Last Arc is awesome, though.

Ryougi has such awesome lines.
Such as her grab move...
"Rest assured, it'll only hurt!"
shabalabadingdong 2 years ago
Or her air grab: "You... fall!" (sounds cooler the way she says it)

cool shiki ryougi is in the game ;)
