Cloaked Knights in both clock towers. They're in one of the hidden rooms in the first one and are all over in the reverse.

Why thank you! I had a feeling I had to kill them for something. Well I got the Sword Familiar sword, Muramasa and Crissaegrim yesterday and today it looks like I'll be getting Heaven's Sword and HOPEFULLY Rune Sword. Damn Dodo's. I have 2 Ring Of Arcanas on and they still don't give me the sword.

Hahah! Good luck. I haven't heard much about stacking Rings of Arcana (since there is no rare drop stat you can actually look at), so perhaps you only get the bonus of one. Most things take at least a few minutes to grind regardless. x__X

Yeah, you can get multiples of the luck items throughout the game, but honestly I am unsure about if they stack. I suppose it's debatable. Then again, even without any items on you could still get lucky. Just the way the game is, heheh.

Yeah the game is freakin' crazy. lol Well yesterday at 11:27 PM, I got Rune Sword from those damn Dodos. I picked it up fast and it's name didn't come on screen because of all the enemies that were attacking me but I checked my inventory and saw it there. It's pretty cool. Well I tried to get Heaven's Sword before that but those Cloaked Knights wouldn't drop it and the Clock Tower is annoying as hell. lol And this morning I went back to the normal water area to level up the Muramasa.

Yeah, it's a pain to quickly kill some of the enemies you need. In the clock tower though, I would just go into that secret room in the inverted castle, go to the very end where the cloaked knight is, and run back and forth (because it respawns when you reach the end of the room and go back).

Interesting strategy. I'll try it out since I still don't have Heaven's Sword. lol Well I have been replaying SotN and I started to save every boss battle so I can replay them whenever. SotN could have really used a Boss Battle mode or at least a Boss Rush mode (like Harmony Of Dissonance had) And I would have killed for a hard mode.

I agree about the boss rush. But if you'd like something of a hard mode (with perks), then try luck mode. I don't remember the code but it's all over the internet. It drops all your stats and gives you super high luck. So like... hard mode + easy grinding for cool weapons and maybe you'll see some that you've never bothered to grind for before. Quite fun. (:

hey i just think the u should use the crissegram (not sure on spelling) in my main game i have 2 at the moment i use them at the same time and just ahnialte and it makes it a lot faster (same with the alucard shield and shield rod comboa but thats way overpowered) anyways um u should also get 2 heavenly swords and press both attack buttons at the same time making a flying dagger effect also great videos love this game ur my favorite lets play castlevania sotn maker and i really enjoy watching.

it is very entertaining to hear you talk about the little details of the game that annoy you and all of us too, like weak enemies with the "kick back" animation that makes them extremely easy to kill.

But i think you should use the crissaegrim just to cut down on the video times. but then you will have to deal with a billion people asking how to get that weapon...

I'm going to show how to get the crissaegrim on screen just because it's so useful to so many later. :] However, I think I've decided over the course of the videos right after this one that it would make it too easy and boring since all I would be doing basically is walking around then.

I don't quite remember the pipe thing, what I do remember, is the first portrait, getting 100% on that portrait was just bs. Some there was a secret hole in the floor, it was so hard to find. I don't have any spell like alucard in that game, so finding secret rooms is way harder. I think I had to use a guide.

Seriously, the DS games have impossible secrets. I think their excuse is that there are items/souls that allow you to see the secret walls, but those items are sooo hard to get!

Some kind of glasses, yeah. And who knows. They kinda have little combo attacks that you learn from Wind (but yeah, those don't even compare).

I think it was the "eye of destruction"(not sure) that let you see the breakable walls. But yeah, the peeping eye had that item and it was a four-star(or five) drop rate. I was just extremely lucky and got it from my tenth one. Made the game so much easier.

It was definitely like 5 star. I remember grinding for hours in DoS/PoR without getting anything from those things. Those peeping eyes f-ing hate me.

I just used Charlotte's Chain Lightning in a group of three of them. It was easy grinding compared to most of the opportunities to grind in the game.

Funny story on them.. at one point, early on, I was using a particular Eye to grind Axe skill on Johnathan, in the very first painting. It's the one right next to a save point, on a ledge. Anyway! 5 kills, bamf, got the eye. 'Wow, that's lucky!' I thought. Another 10: Another eye. 7 more: ANOTHER EYE. 3 drops in three minutes. Good times.

I never actually searched for the small breakable walls in POR, but I did 100% all portraits. :B I remember accidentally finding that one secret in the pipe and that blew my mind. Hahah.

There are these green skeletons that do about 120 damage to you, but you level up when you kill about 6 of them! You should try it out you can grind so fast.

Yep, the beam skeletons. But I always level up at the guardians, which I will get to soon enough. :P No need to grind too many levels though, so I'm not too concerned about it. (:

Hahah! Yeah! I did get that. Just went through all the monsters on the top screen and anytime there was an item missing, I stuck around and grinded away. I had a lot of free time over the summer. xP

In my opinion, you shouldn't use the crissaegrim but you should find something with a little more "DeePS," (damage in WoW terms) than the heaven sword.

The Marsil is a cool sword that's fairly balanced so there's still the challenge but you can get through the "trash mobs," (another WoW term) quickly. The only thing with that is it's a pain to get.

Those are all just my suggests.

Also, I the heaven sword really should have been a holy element weapon. I mean, come on it's from heaven!

I agree, it should be holy! But oh well. I do plan to get better weapons, but have yet to grind for them. I may wait until I get some items to boost my luck before going through that again though.

I'll definitely look into my options as to what to use.

About the Crissaegrim, na I dont think you should use it for the rest of the game, it`s really overpowering to the point of boredom. Would be cool if you played showing off various weapons instead, but feel free to ignore that if you feel it would turn into too much of a hassle. :)

I think various weapons would be nice. The only thing is grinding for them (which I'm fine with, but at the moment my luck's pretty low). I'll definitely get a few if I'm not using the cirssaegrim but I'm afraid I'd fall into the habit of using only one or two of the best ones. P:
