Prisoners that are sent to Guantanamo Bay are there for a reason. Whether it be they are prisoners of war or terrorists, every prisoner in all America is there for a reason and shall be kept there. Yes, few prisoners are tortured but it is for the sake of America's future. I feel nothing towards those that deserve to be tortured and in prison, but for those who are innocent I pity them for a few seconds and then move on with my life.

Yes u r missing something, it's called legal process & the Geneva Convention. The people u r talking about have never been given a trial & simply finding somebody in 'the battlefield' is hardly evidence. U can't call them terrorists simply 4 taking up arms against an invading foreign army (even assuming they did take up arms & there r certainly people being held who didn't). Those took up arms are called freedom fighters, not terrorists.
