there where he puts the n95 there is a button where the laptop knows that the lid is closed, so the laptop turn off the screen to save energy

as you can see in the video, this laptop doesnt have a button for when you close the lid, what it has its sort of a magnet sensor and thats what happens...

if I say button that doesn't mean it's something big like on/off button. The button that I say is a very small (like a needle) button. I can do the same shit with a candybar and my old dell laptop :p so dont talk its magnetic side effect or other bullshit

its probably because of the magnetic thing inside the n95 which is used to figure out the position of the slider, the same magnet will work on the HP laptop

the reason must be that tha nokia has the same sensor that tells the computer that the lid is closed so when we place the cellphone there it acts as if the lid was closed . . .

I have the same laptop, just tried this and my N95 switches it to standby when you put it there
