  • It worked for me. Thank you! I had to set the sharing settings both public and private to the following in Windows 7: My settings are:

    "Turn Off Network Discovery"

    "Turn On file and printer sharing"

    "Turn off public folder sharing"

    Then follow your tutorial, and everything is working. My FLAC files are even being recognized and played on my stereo as well. Thank you!

  • Great instructions! I had tried setting up with the GUEST account, using haneNFS and neither worked. This is fast and it WORKS! I am now watching 720p movie on my downstairs TV.

  • no go my friend, i guess im not sharing correctly. I have 2 hard drives which are dedicated video only drives. it isnt even trying to see them. im pretty sure that it is set up for sharing but idk, any advice helps!
