I heard it was originally about vampires and living forever and then it turned into something about werewolves. Satriani said "it's one of those Sammy Hagar mysteries.." or something to that effect.

Kinda funny...I watched a movie I'd never even heard of on TV last week. It was called 'Wolf' with Jack Nicholson and was about the guy being bitten by a wolf. Kind of ironic. The werewolves lived forever too, like the vampires. Similar train of thought. Wonder why he was thinking of that kinda stuff for a song? Interesting but strange. Maybe Sammy's really one of those creatures and that's why he still looks so young for his age. ;-D LOL!
