Nice finds, I have a large coil for my garrett, works well, just need to be prepared to dig deep holes tho !!..... I also have a sniper coil, 4.5 inch in diameter and that is really good, especially in high trafficed areas. Have you tried looking for "green lanes", old drovers tracks, they yield up old coinage.
great video! That coil looked tiny compared too my 18x15 s.e.f Hehe. Its nice having a site you can use the big ones..I toss the swingy thingy on so my arm doesnt fall off! looking forward to your next Video! HH
@MADMILLER1000 yes, i only started detecting this year and found the coin and jewelry mode was picking up too much for me to take in. Coin mode discriminates a little more and i found the learning curve much much easier. i,ll be going into relic mode soon and i,ll see how it goes
@fabianlabian i also have beed detecting for 1 year and use an xlt. i am still learning how to use it but never sure what program use, i am always worried i will be missing the targets. every now and then i seem to get a lot of broken signals and the detector goes mad for a couple of mins, have you ever come across this? thanks.
@MADMILLER1000 dont worry about missing targets if you know your going to go back over the ground cos your going to get better and will pick them up maybe 2nd or 3rd time around. in this vid i,d done this patch about 6 times before but i am still finding stuff, even the pros miss stuff but find them later on.
as for the broken signals i,ll pm you as it will take a bit of time typing.
theres no such thing as a 1969 10 pence . 1971 was when new pence came out .
