You drones don't get it. No one wants your reseeding and don't care how delicate or careful you are when fucking up the land. Fact is it will never be the same to those who appreciate it for what it was, especially knowing there is a ticking time bomb underneath.
Spend less time at the bars and more time with nature. Maybe you'll learn to appreciate life a little more.
I've worked in pipeline construction for 26 years and for anyone that does not know, this is taken while construction is yet ongoing. When it dries enough, it will be finished. The berm you see to the left it the topsoil that was stripped back and segregated so it can be replaced free of contamination. It will then be re-seeded in NATIVE grasses or otherwise as per the request of the LAND OWNER. (left bare for crops, etc)
We had the same pipeline go through cropland and native pasture and they left it better than when they came. A real top notch crew was involved some quit complaining. Not only that I know first hand that you guys got paid GOOD!!!
I worked on the keystone line in ND and SD in 08, and in NE ,KS last year in 09. I assure you those are leveled back off and was put back as if we were never there.
These videos make you guys look inflammaory and ridiculous. Of course it will look exactly the same after they're done and the grass grows back.
There are lots of issues surrounding this pipeline, but posting lame videos taken during construction is just dumb and gets you nowhere imo.
