  • Fuckin' A, Marlene.

  • I nearly jumped out of my skin @ 5:45. Best Christmas segment EVER!!!

  • i think both this version and the 1989 episode are both great, this ones simple but very creepy but the 1989 version is more over the top but so much fun

  • Love that when she throws the body down the cellar, God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman comes on the radio! LMAO at that one.

  • I love the look of satisfaction on " Santa's" face, when he knows he doesn't have to trouble himself too much. Joan was a very underrated actress and she was pregnant when she filmed this segment of TFTC.

As Joan joked " Its getting harder & harder to murder your husband".

That daughter is a creepy little bitch. Poor girl being made an orphan at Christmas, '72 wasn't a great Christmas for her-was it?

  • what is the name of the secod song that is played?

  • @JFLD8 Once in Royal David's City.

  • @JFLD8 Away In A Manger

  • They should have given her Clint walker for a husband.

  • Not only is killing your husband on Christmas Eve with your own child upstairs bad enough, opening your X-mas gift before Christmas is a deadly no no. No wonder Santa got mad and killed Joan.(^_^)^_~

  • 5:44 - 5:46 I don't blame you, I'd go after her too! Of course, the difference would be I wouldn't kill her, not physically, that is.

  • Amazing segment. By far my favorite story of the original Crypt movie.

  • that's scary good.

  • I remember seeing this at the local theatre back in the day. Love the 70s decor and Joan Collins is absolutely smokin' in this! Much better than HBO remake. That one had too much humor for my taste. Thanks for posting it!

  • "Voglio fare sesso con te"

  • I was dating Joan around the time she filmed this. Apparently the guy that plays Santa was a sound engineer.

  • I saw this episode when i was little SCARED the shit out of me, i remembered this episode for years lol

  • Nice crescent/star hat. Not the first thing that comes to mind during 'CHRISTmas' holidays. Can't say I've ever seen one on any Christmas tree either...

  • it looks like she knocked over the white vase on purpose for dramatic effect. love joan.

  • The blood looks like red car paint which it most likely is

  • Loved the version of "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen". I wished they bothered to play carols half so good now.

  • Old fat men with any kind of decent money should never marry a beautiful, much younger wife if they ever want to make it to their next birthday. What's wrong with these guys??!!?

  • her best 70s film by far

  • WHAT is the second "CAROL" being played? thanks it starts at 1: 08 I think

  • @joancollins54 The second "CAROL' in "All through the House" is "Once in Royal David's City." I had a hard time trying to find the name of my favorite carol and one of the commenters said it is by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. So I went to Amazon(dot)com and searched through MTC Christmas albums and listened to the samples of each of their choruses--wallah!--and I found the right melody and the right title. You should if you are ever stumped!

  • WHAT is the second "CAROL" being played? thanks

  • the seventies i think had decent clothes and hair styles :D

  • 6:49. He's supposed to be dead but he does a very good jub of sheilding his face when he hits the floor.

  • Where have I seen her before?

  • THIS STORY WILL ALWAYS CREEP ME OUT. MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! :)

  • I'll never look at Christmas the same way ever again.

  • it's not xmas until you see this.

  • just in time for the holiday season - AN ICE QUEEN

  • Joan had the best hair of the 70s.

  • @planetrockford Totally!!!!

  • Joan Collins was evil in here like in

    Dynasty Lol

  • I was shocked to find out Joan Collins was about 39 in this. She doesn't look it at all and is freakin' HOT in this!! :)

  • in 1989 they redid this with Mary Ellen Trainor as the wife & Larry Drake as Santa for the series.

  • i like the tv version of the segment, all-though the series wasnt that good but THIS film is awesome and the twist at the end is cool too

  • Damn, freakin' Joan Collins looks GOOD!

  • Is that blood or V-8 juice? :-)

  • merry christmas lol awesome.

  • Joan still is probably in need of acting lesson !!

  • Man what a babe; Joan Collins, Raquel Welch and Jayne Seymour make me wish I could go back in time. Classic beauties

  • She'd be about 40 here, which at that time she looked hot... and still does!

  • i wish blood looked liked that, it would be pretty

  • She really deserves it

  • Ahhh suspension of disbelief! Why wouldn't she just have called the cops and said the santa killed her husband? Ohhh no! Haha I love these 70's movies!

  • Def better than the cheesy one they did in the 80s, Joan is alot better

  • It is amazing how easy it was to cover up a murder in the 70s lol Just use a paper towel to wipe the blood

  • @dgriff1264 LOL!xx

  • What scares me is that I could see my own wife doing something like this.

    Great posting

  • I love that phone!

  • Fantastic. I much prefer this to the TV version from 1989. Joan Collins plays it with more quiet subtlety, rather than Mary Ellen Trainor's screaming and mad-eyed demonic facial expressions lol. I found myself rooting for Joan in this version, but disliking Mary too much to care if Santa got her or not! In fact I was kind of rooting for Santa in the 1989 version! The end reveal is also much more enexpected here. Seeing Santa climb into the house in the other one just killed the suspense for me.

  • Looks like Santa was killing her by giving her a shoulder massage!

  • @tjwdraws Yeah I Know...LOL

  • How easy to commit a murder in 1972 lol

  • this so creepy

  • WTF?! She can kick Linda Evan's ass up and down the mansion stairs, but Joan can't handle an old crazy santy?

  • but if i remeber correctly- Joan always got the worst end of the fights and lost most if not all of them too LOL

  • whats that hat hes wearing?

  • That is called a fez.

  • he's here mummy i let him in

    x')

  • Have to be honest, after seeing the HBO version first- doesn't everyone think it's scarier when the woman doesn't know the killer is on the loose? Will say this for '72, the Carol door reveal is scarier than the Carrie window reveal in '89. But again, for '89 - the ax is way better than bare-hands. As for Santa, this guy is creepier than Larry Drake, but he lacks the slow motion of really creepy killers (like Michael Myers). This one's much nastier but Mary Ellen Trainor was more entertaining.

  • lol 5:44 scared the shit out of me lol

  • Comment removed

  • I think she's Katy from Who Slew Auntie Roo(?). Another British horror film.

  • I prefer the horror maxim that bad things happen to bad people over the bad things happen randomly to dumb horny teenagers. Nothing to do with morals - it's just more satisfying to watch. Must go find some Stephanie Beacham after this.

  • The daughter let in psycho santa. Hope she saved the receipts on her parents gifts.

  • LOVE how the homicidal maniac goes right over to Joan's house.

  • i love the house..and the lady is very pretty

  • I adored this movie, and Joan is wonderful and beautiful !!!

  • like the 2nd christmas song

  • Who Kilsl their husband wile their kid is upstairs? Joan Collins of course! Dur! :)

  • Has any one got the full ep of this..

  • "Hey Joan Collins are you scared? Well you shouldn't be. Because you're on scare tactics... You're dead husband set you up"

  • If I ever went back in time to bang a classic actress, Joan Collins in her prime would definitely be it.

  • That was hilarious!!! HA

  • Easily the best of the TALES FROM THE CRYPT FILM. And GEEZ, Joan Collins was HOT. She can "wallop" me with a firepoker anytime.

  • This is a scary scene.

  • who the hell kills their husband on Christmas with you kid upstairs!

  • Nobody should kill anyone! ^_^

  • Joan Collins of course!

  • Nice one Joan. Merry Xmas to you too!. The info says that "Saucy Joan is a murderess strumpet who wallops her husband to death & is then beseiged by a homicidal maniac dressed as Santa Claus". Sounds great!. Pity we can't watch it all!.

  • holy bajesus that was bad

  • O.O when he tried to grab her lmao. heart skpped a beat

  • jeezus ..and what a totally unconvincing strangulation at the end..destroys any fear factor whatsoever. Please remake this movie with realistic acting and effects..but don't fuck up the script in typical Hollywood remake fashion please.

  • ridicolous fake blood at 7:15. ok its a low budget but how hard can it be to find a proper shade for blood??!

  • poor old guy.. that's what you get for marrying hot young flesh, they only want yer money. still...hope he got some good fucks out of her before she did him in.

  • lol

    perverted much

  • I love the way she interacts with the set and furniture and everything its so , so something, I cant describe it

  • That's one gorgeous house

  • She was always look btetter then u plus she lived a life..

  • shees hot its too bad shes a old bag now

  • heheh... you will be to... old bag

  • LOL

  • this is an excellent 70's film from the amicus studios . they excelled in making anthologies were there were several short stories in the main film . other amicus films to look out for are .. / the vault of horror / doctor terrors house of horrors / the house that dripped blood / torture garden /

  • Such a great little story for the night before Christmas! Joan picked an odd time to dispose of her hubbie! Love the way how we get a selection of Carols, too, from the best of the Amicus films.

  • very hot bitch

  • Wow, had no idea this was J Collins. She is GORGEOUS! Reminds me a little of Kate Moss. She looks she is in a D&G shoot here. Simply stunning!

  • It;'s not a wig dumb ass

stfu make me a sandwich next.

  • Man. How can I get my hair that big?

  • Isn't it a wig? I know she likes wearing wigs.

  • I's a classic and the beat Amicus film I think. She's also great in 'The Bitch' and it's sequel 'The Stud'.

  • I remember my parents taking our whole family to the drive in to see this movie in 1972. I was only eight years old. This and the episodes in the movie scared the crap out of me! I remember it like yesterday! This is to awesome to watch it on Youtube!!!

  • they don't make beauties like Joan anymore.

she's what people like me have instead of Jesus...

  • this is an excellent 70's film from the amicus studios . they excelled in making anthologies were there were several short stories in the main film . other amicus films to look out for are .. / the vault of horror / doctor terrors house of horrors / the house that dripped blood / torture garden /

  • Joan Collins is one seriously sexy b!tch, no diss...damn

  • years later they remade this episode

  • yeah

into a title called and all through the house

    which starred mary tellen tailor

    who played carol

and larry drake as the homicidal santa claus

  • Oh god isn't Joan so so hot!!!

Even if she was a murderess I'd still definitely shag her!!!

  • She shoulda called the police and blamed the husband's murder on the maniacle santa. She'd have beaten the rap.

  • i always have been scared of this when i was younger but when i look at it now??....

  • Merry Christmas everyone!!!

  • thanks for this.they should show this every xmas day instead of the queens speech, lol.

  • I saw this 'years' ago and loved it!!

    Thanks for posting!

    'Happy Christmas'! X

  • Great scene!

Joan Collins is an amazing, talented actress!!

    Thanks a lot!

  • 04:28 - 04:32 - That part always scares me!

  • i'm 17. i watched this when i was really young and it has been stuck in my head since. it makes me very, very scared about men dressed as santa. it doesn't help that both my parents are mentally ill and sometimes i picture them doing this kind of thing.

it's great though. the best tales of a crypt thing.

  • oh god what goes around comes around

  • so so true- my friend.

  • thanx for posting this... i was looking for a similar one but just discovered it was a remake of this one!

  • This should be an M&S ad =P.

Shear class, they dont make them like this anymore!

  • "M&S?" Sorry, what is that?

  • this is an excellent 70's film from the amicus studios . they excelled in making anthologies were there were several short stories in the main film . other amicus films to look out for are .. / the vault of horror / doctor terrors house of horrors / the house that dripped blood / torture garden /

  • ONCE IN ROOOOYAL DAVID'S CITY! hehehe I swear this video would not be nearly as creepy if there wasn't the Christmas music.

  • classic!

  • Merry Christmas! I love how cheezy the blood looks, but it scared the hell out of me as a kid when I saw it in the theatre!

  • I know! lol It's hot pink. ;-D

And notice when she's staging "the accident" she pours the blood on the opposite side of his head than she actually hit him on?

  • horror movies from the 70's were great

  • Im uploading all of the movie now! such a great film.

  • BOOO is it jason or freddie?????????????? i love the horror of it all

  • Money the oldest world motive !!

i adored joan and this movie.

  • i like to meet santa

  • theres a new version too :)

  • yeah like it's not obvious she killed him

  • shes just great even when mediocre :p

  • The blood look fake ♥

  • Why'd she kill her husband? and this was great btw

  • For insurance money.

  • i see thanks!

  • i find this shining examples of why you shouldn't lie to your kids and karma

  • well done santa!!!!!

  • i loved this 1 joan at her bitchey best the newer santa was creepy too fun memories

  • i love this old version! the new version of it from tales from the crypt was really shitty

  • hey is there more to this episode? it just seemed to end oddly

  • I saw this movie in Grade 8 and it scared the shit out of me! Thanks for the memories!

  • milf milf

  • The most disturbing part to me was the girl saying "goodnight daddy" after her mother just murdered her father. While the mother got what was coming to her, the girl lost her parents and perhaps even her own life because of her mother's actions. If she didn't murder her husband it the maniac would probably not have picked the house or the two of them might have just clobbered him.

  • It's just a show.

  • Where the rest of it?! It was getting good!

  • God, even back then Joan was a bitch!! I love it!!

  • I remember seeing this in school when I was a kid (6th grade) and this was one of my first scare flicks. Classic stuff.....wish it was on DVD instead of VHS.

  • What I like about the "Tales from the Crypt" movie is that most of the main characters deserved the terrible fates that awaited them and you can sympathize for their victims. I feel sorry for the husband here, who clearly worshipped the wife whom he never suspected would kill him.

  • To me the best part is that these events didn't actually happen. They are all events that they are THINKING of engaging in. So in the end, all those people got what was coming to them before they had the chance to torture/kill all those innocent people.

  • WRONG!!! In the end, it is revealed that they HAVE done all those horrible things, got retribution for it and are now in purgatory, awaiting their eventual descent into hell. I thought the last five minutes made it clear...

  • It did make it clear.

    And I believe *you're* wrong. ;-)

  • Well, obviously not for everyone. The Crypt Keeper clearly tells them that he has NOT been telling of them of their future and that his chamber was "a place for those who died with repentince." Watch the movie again.

  • Then why did that one guy say "he was on his way home to his wife and children"... and then the crypt keeper says, "and then?"... if's already happened?

He's revealing that they are dead, during the "point" you make. They don't know they're dead yet. That's why he says that. It's not really in their future, because... it ain't gonna happen. ;-) He's going to make sure these dark souls are taken care of.

    Watch again.

  • ALL of those people initially thought they were in the catacombs for one reason or other. Like most Amicus anthology films, there is a TWIST in the end where we find out the real reason. They all committed those crims, got killed and are now in purgatory, followed by an eternity in hell.

  • Crims of repentince. lol

  • Actually, it's the first time I ever had this stupid "argument." I don't even realize why it's an argument in the first place, since THE MOVIE MAKES IT DAMN CLEAR THEY'RE ABOUT TO ENTER HELL FOR WHAT THEY HAVE DONE.

PS - Yes, I misspelled two words. Oh, the tragedy!

  • As far as repentance...

do you think those acts were the first bad things these dark souls had ever planned on doing?

  • Christ... Look, I'm right, you're wrong, end of story. Don't bother replying because you are now blocked.

  • You've got some ego problems, sweetie.

I'll bet if you go ask 10 long-time fans of this movie (not your friends, just random fans) what they think, you will see my opinion is likely going to be the majority.

  • (psst, to everyone else): Why do I suspect he's been attempting to argue this point a long time, and probably hasn't been succeeding? ;-)

  • The English wouldn't describe someones wieght in pounds, we'd use stone.

That bit didn't end as well as the TV one did...

  • that santa wasn't that scary lookin at all...the Tales from the crypt santa..now he was fuckin creepy

  • I went to go see this movie in the drive-in, we never saw disney or cartoons, dad liked to take up to the scary ones, thanks for posting.. brought back all those childhood fears and memories

  • And when he catches her why does he give her a massage?

  • because it is a DEADLY massage!!!

  • Well she sounds like she's enjoying it whatever's going on.

  • thats because santa is giving that massage

  • Merry Christmassage is what he calls it. Deadly.

  • in the one i saw she goes outside with the body and a guy with an ax pops out

  • Same, it's the one that's two videos below this one, also called All Through The House. It's in 3 parts.
