@scaryfried - Go back to the roots of a lot of things that this band ( who are one of my favorites right now ), are derivative of: My Bloody Valentine ( Loveless ), Dandy Warhols ( particular albums I would only recommend are - "Dandy's Rule Ok" and " Come Down" ), HUM ( any album really ), Autolux ( Future Perfect ), and Amusement Parks on Fire. Also, just in general Google "Doom Rock" or "Drone Rock".
