I used to think of him as such a man's man and a ladies man. And I still do think of him this way. He is so cool; he and Feroz Khan gave me that vibe. RIP Feroz-saab.

I'm Nigerian and this movie practically accounted for half my childhood. old is truly Gold

  • @yashkumar9604 I know but almost ALL Nigerians grew up on Indian movies most especially pre-early 90s maybe bcos Nigerian movies were just beginning then. I am only 19 but I grew up watching 70s and early-mid 80s Indian movies as a child. Daram Veer was me and my brother's favorite movie as kids. LOL we used to call this movie "Oh Oh Oh" from this song Saat Ajoobe Is Duniya Mein cos this was our favorite song in the movie.Though I'm a girl, me and my brother used to think we were Dharam & Veer.

  • One GODS mistake on this forum was talking rubbish about the cast of this movie, how there you.even in the early 1970s or 1980s when this movie was made, americans were still wallowing in their prejudices and hatred of each other, ofcourse the concept of love, true friendship and family values are forgone conclusion in amer.even the custume was very classy, can you immagine where america was in fashion in the 1980s. Indian people are more classy.Even the angels of GOD in heaven loves this movie

  • oh my GOD, i felt like a kid again, all my childhood memories of india and its movies came rushing back.i remember many years ago when i watched this movie in Nigeria not understanding a squart, i promise my friends then that i must marry an indian.iam still wishing, God will bless whoever that put this movie on this youtube. i love the scene where the evil king or prince was kicking his leg on the air saying "maskerege, maskerege or something!.what about the custume, these people are the best,

  • good luck bro , as Indian wives re the best :) i had a couple of them :))))

  • very nice song , with pure feeling of friendship , but unfortunatly , while watching this song one of my english friend said "Are they gay" LOL

  • that's their prejudice against gays and ignorance of culture of male bonding , i had one German ask me the same question in Calcutta where guys routinely walk with holding hands or lean on each other while sitting ,

  • Thats wot u call a proper JAT!

  • Rafi saayeb was a gift from God, once and for ever!

  • good moviee theres a serial off dharamvveer comes on ndtv imgine

  • Did you mean this one ?

o meri mehbooba - dharam veer

  • No not that one,.. although I love that song to. I used to think the movie was called mahbooba mahbooba, because that was the only song I could remember.. :)

But I mean the song where she wheres that pink dress. He sort of kidnapped her while she was taking a bath. And at the end she stabs him!...I dont know the words anymore but that is because im not hindi..so..

  • the one u r on bout is called "arre mainne tujhko chaha".........."o meri mehbooba" is the one wen he pretends to commit suicide and she comes to him.

thx alot of these lovely songs,,

  • dharam pajiz ALL natural , they really dont make guys like him nemore

  • I want to watch this movie sooo bad!!! But i cant find it on the internet anywhere....damn

  • Great duet by indian greatest legends Mohd.Rafi an Mukesh chand Mathur !!!!!!!

  • Rajesh Khanna may have received the first label of superstar, but he has absolutely nothing on the true superstar, Dharmendra. Unequivocally the most handsome, charming and talented actor.

  • agreed Dharmendra is just different

the most handsome hunk not the fake cutey boys of nowadays

dilip kumar said at an awards function when dilip dies he will ask god why he never made him as handsome as Dharmendra!

  • i think dilip kumar in his young age was far handsome than dharmendra, watch andaz mela shaheed, babul. its his simplicity to say like this but no doubt dhermendra was also very handsome but not n his initial movies.

  • agreed Dilip is handsome but at an awards function dilip kumar himself said i have no complaints from God beside that why he didnt make me as handsome as Dharmendra!

  • yes i heard dilip ji say something like that, but quite honestly dilip ji cant complain because dilip ji was very handsome in his heyday...........

any way dharam ji an dilip ji are 2 very naturally handsome people.........and lovely people!!!!!!

  • Dharmendra , was my favourite when I was a kid, he still and always will be! - he was and is still the most handsome man!

  • Yes, yes....on the Indian screen!

  • Rafi saab ....wow what a voice he outshines everyone by far

    thanx , gr8 song!

  • Ye larki hain ya Resham ki dor hain

Kitna ghussa hain kitni Mu zor hain

dheela chor na dena hans k

    rakna dost lagamay kass k

aray mushkil se Qabu main aye

todi dheel jo chori ... wah kya baat hain

  • hema Malinin said that when she saw Dharmendra she she wanted her husband to be like him!

  • Does anyone know where I can download this movie? and the rest of his top movies?....his performance in sholay was awesome....its a shame he never reached superstardom the likes of amitab bachchan.

  • macho Dharmendra the real deal! check the leg muscles, the salman khan of his day

  • wallah al muhammad very nice

  • pure jat. eat your harts out.

  • Dharmendra was the original and only he-man and radiated warmth and love which has endeared him to his fans for decades and decades. He had real muscles and not the gym sclupted body of today's stars.

  • nothing matters dharam is pure superstar of people!!!!!!!!!!

    dharam is superb!!!!!!

  • yo, this is my fav indian movie since i was a toddler

  • Two of the best actors and two of the best singers in background. what more can you ask for? during those days only Dharam had the body to dress up in shorts.

  • love the song's lyrics

  • both luk fantastic....

  • oh such memories

  • very nice song thanks alot from posting. It reminds me my childhood.

    Thanks

  • Great song. Heroes were real men and not steroid pumped up models

  • dharamji is looking very sexy and it a great movie

  • he was the best looking of all the stars - dilip said that to him. he definitely had more hits and better movies than rajesh khanna - don't know why he wasn't labelled a "superstar" as he was. amitabh & rajesh were labelled that but never dharmendra. makes no sense to me.

  • he never got his dues, although his recently got quite a few lifetime achievement awards

a consistent hit film star at the box office

bigger and more hits than rajesh khanna, dilip kumar and shahrukh khan, just a bit behind amitabh but to me his miles better
