I doubt it, ground to prop distance is very small, transforming it into a seaplane would make the propeller touch the water, (there maybe a risk in any case), and it's not very good for flying. Maybe with longer wheel legs, but not sure.

thanks, but besides the modifications, is the vw engine powerful enough to overcome the friction from the water?
