  • Nice tutorial on how to make a hydro clone station!! Check out my grow updates, tutorials, and tips

  • how long and how often do you water the clones? Thanks Bud

  • @2451Charlie - 30 mins every 6 hours

  • Thanks Bud. I really appreciate all the advice you've given me. I will send you pics when I'm up and running. Gonna be a few months, but I'm gonna do it right so it will take some time.

  • I know you get tons of questions, and I looked everywhere online b4 asking you, but where do you get the threaded male to hose adapter, and about how much are they? Thanks Bud

  • @2451Charlie - home depot has millions of them on their shelves, approx $2 each.

  • how do you keep these things from leaking? I built one but there is no way i could leave it on the way it leaks. what do you do about leaks?

  • @campgnartron - where does it leak from??

  • @killuminati654 lol ur nancie from weeds

  • Yawn.......... im gonna go make one, grow some weed, sell it, make thousands , and get shot , k see you guys later

  • Hey man. I built this thing about a month ago and have never gotten ANY cuttings to root. I used to make clones all day long when I grew in soil. But now that I am doing hydro, I can't get any to set roots. What am I doing wrong. pH is 5.5 to 6.0. I put a lite dose of A & B nutes. I'm using Clonex brand rooting solution. I even followed your video on how to make a clone. Still not working. Please help!!

  • @caucasianjake - without being there to see it myself, i have no idea... you see the roots in my videos and pics.. i have only lost 2-3 clones out of hundreds. only thing different im doing that you arent is using hormex instead of clonex. i tried olivias solution back in the day and got 0% success... i know tons of people that use clonex and love it..

  • @GrowHouseBuilders damn. I tried whole new round and still no success. I'm afraid I'm going to have to scrap this and try the old method I had success with, which sucks because I fucking hate soil.. It's just too bad this thing didn't work. I had a friend of mine who's been growing for years tell me he didn't think this thing would work, it's too bad he was right. I was really excited about this thing. I don't know why I can't get it to work. It's pretty damn frustrating.

  • @caucasianjake - im not sure whats going on... whats the source of your clones? are they being cut properly?

  • @caucasianjake -..... and it does work well!!! your friend is very wrong... if a picture is worth a 1000 words then my videos are worth much more... I show u and the world how well it works in my vids... there are many others on here that have tried it, all of which had success... you r the only one so far experiencing problems... man, i just took out some clones that have roots 20 inches long... i will post them on my site soon. there are already some pics of my last clones on there too!!

  • Thanks bro, i found this tutorial useful. Gob bless

  • Dude, I built this exact thing today and am gonna load it up with clones tomorrow after I watch some of your other videos. Thanks for the help brotha!

  • Very good "how to" video! Thanks alot helped me a good bit! <'3

  • The pump would have an 1/2" outlet, not inlet, right?

I bought the 1 7/8 hole saw bit and the net pots would not seat, had to go buy the 2" one to make it work. I don't know if there are differences in 2" net pots?

    Pan head screws, for what?

Hose connector on mine was built offset, didn't like the hose going into the leg. Mine was 2" and 4" pieces in the center.

Put one sprayer in 2" and 2 in the 4".

Walmart doesn't sell that style tub in 18 anymore just 30 gallon.

    Thanks for the video

  • Michael J. Fox could drill more even holes than this guy...

  • @MrStreamline97 - r even holes necessary!? actually when you build one you will see that you dont want even holes. you actually want them staggered to keep branches seperated allowiung more light to get through, as well make it easier to move the clones around. so as far as even holes goes, its not an issue. if you want to see even holes, look at my custom light rail stabilizers or my custom kief tumbler... absolute perfection... just like my buds!!

  • @MrStreamline97 I bet he couldn't get frosty clones like GHB though!

  • Sweetest vid on building a clone machine.

    Love it!

  • Half inch O/D or I/D

  • @apsert - depends on what size pump you get.. if you get a 1/2 inlet pump then youll need 1/2" ID.

  • Hey GHB, how long should you run your Cloner? 24/7? 1 hour on 15 minutes off? what have you found to be the best run times for this Cloner? I look forward to your response buddy.

  • @NWcpl - if u use rockwool cubes like i do, then u only need to water for 30 mins every 6hours. you can actually get by with 20mins, the timers im using are in 30min increments, therefore thats what i use. works perfect!

  • Hey bro, Just want you to know that because of your video I was able and to build my own power cloner. thank you for making the video. Just know it did help out allot and mine works great. peace out 420..

  • Anyone know where to buy neoprene at affordable price? Those hydro store are a total rip off for this components.

  • @Fainatube - on my site under cloning supplies, which is under grow rooms.

  • In the process of building. Thanks man nice price out. Dead on.

  • just built this,it works great! thanks man.

  • im new to this hydroponic scene. i had a couple of questions. 1. do you leave the hyrdoponic system running all day or can you turn it on when im home and off when im not. 2. do you add any solutions to the water or is it just plain water.

  • @emnakingdk - i turn mine on for 30mins every 6 hours using a digital timer. and i do add solution/nutrients to the water. Please feel free to visit my site where all the answers are for free.. theweedscene (dot) com/clones-2/

  • this looks good man going to make one thanks fore taking the time to make this video go green peace from norway

  • once you get clones like these and they root can you just get ur soil makea whole put the roots in and cover the guy up? or do you have to finish them hydroponicly

  • @xMasterKush - yes u can grow them in soil or hydro. as long as they are rooted!

  • thank you bro i will get try to make one

  • question can i use a 160 gal per hour pump my 11 yo son bought it he doing a science experiment now my pump his pump dont have a 1/2 nch inlet are their any adapters i can add on to it so that the pipe fits on to it ? thanks

  • @19TRUESTAR81 - yes that pump will be ok. your local home depot or lawn and garden store should have the 1/2" adapter u need.

  • @GrowHouseBuilders hey thanks sooo much for the response i refuse to spend so much when he can make it himself thanks so much keep up the good work !!!

  • that was fun to watch! do you shave your arms?

  • @a1201h - lol no i dont shave my arms but everyone asks. just the way my hair grows (or doesnt grow).. lol

  • dude where about do u live i wanna buy some of ur homegrow :)

  • @ashman239 - colorado!

  • @GrowHouseBuilders can u do outdoor in colorado?

  • @jonnyboy903 - yes we do every year. we grow vegetative indoor thru the winter, get the plants huge, then take outdoor to bloom in the mile hi sunshine!!

  • @GrowHouseBuilders sweet man. well what just happened with feds crackin down in cali me and my girl been talkin about movin out there. if so man ill get at u and u can show us some clubs once we get our medical cards

  • @jonnyboy903 - cali did not put into their states constitution that its protected from federal law in regards to MMJ... thats y the feds r now stepping in messing shit up... my opinion only, i believe that this a publicity stunt by the obama admin because it is election time and they need to look like they have reign and power... wait til the elections r over and see what happens prior to moving.. colorado best state ever for mmj!!!! best grow climate and no worries w the law!!!

  • could i get the same results with just a standard dwc bubbling tote without the sprayers? plz help

    thx sir

  • @TheWinterss1 - yes u can get the same results. DWC works well, although ive found that this way works quicker

  • @TheWinterss1 - you could but the sprayers help keep everything evenly wet and moist

  • great how to you have inspired me, i have been using a tuper ware dish and lid with water clonex solution and an air stone, making sure the water level keeps the clone stem under water about 1 1/2 in to 2in. it only does six though. i have wanted to build one like yours. you have a great system on how too. thanks for inspiring me and thanks for the how too vid. glad to see some ( meds users) are willing to help us new be's out. peace&pot

  • @grow4me1 - thank u and im glad i can help!

  • @GrowHouseBuilders question i grow in soil (Fox Farms Ocean Forrest), can you use this clone machine for soil. i noticed that you do a flood and drain or ebb n flow. so can i just put the clones in soil from your style of machine. thanks peace&pot

  • @GrowHouseBuilders can i put the clones from this type of clone machine into soil after they have good roots coming from the clones. or does it have to be a hydro set up or dwc? thanks for your help

  • @grow4me1 - yes u can!!!

  • This is kiss simple. why are commercial cloners so expensive.that is one hell of a mark up.

  • @ktrain420247 - exactly! :)

  • quick question,

how do you clean this setup? ive seen people use peroxide in their solution bath

  • @TheDprince10 - i personally prefer to use CLR with hot water. fill it up then let the pump run until water is gone, then rinse w hot water. Mine has stayed spotless and has produced over 600 clones in 3 months.

  • Very nice demo! I like your design better than any DIY on here. You really make it look easy . . . I just finished building my first one and it looks like ass!

  • @kushtastick - who cares how it looks, just make sure it functions! ;)

  • Q: Is it possible to transfer your clone into bigger pots and change out the lid and continue to grow with this setup in a grow room setup? (A no soil setup just rockwool and rocks)

  • @MrManishWayz - yes u can do that

  • @GrowHouseBuilders - Thank you

  • awesome demo thanks dude!
