0:05, look at the spark on the container behind the target which is up and to the right of where he was aiming. This is simply a display of 3arch's solution to quickscoping, which is a short period after scoping in where the bullet will hit wherever it damn well pleases. The fact that you were walking the slightest bit whilst shooting as well probably didn't help.
Holy crap! the bullet is off like by a whole meter! I hope the fix that. The sway is not that much of a problem but the fact that the bullet does not go where is supposed to just stinks.
@AboveAllBeOriginal well if you looked where i was running to, i was going to the only adequate sniping perch on that side of the map. i just so happed to encounter that guy on my way.. why wasnt i defusing the bomb behind me? my teamate at the time was.. i was going to get up there and perch... i was being quite helpful to the game actually
maybe thats what you get for trying to snipe in search and destroy. i don't know if you noticed but this game is so fun right now playing objective type games where people are actually playing the objective and not trying to be Mini-Grizz. but whatevvaaa
@Jordan5zelda IDC, there are 2 bombs that need to be defused and he's nowhere near them. you can tell me he's a "slayer" (the one killing people not playing the objective) but if that is so he shouldn't be sniping.
honestly, i don't know why there are shotguns and snipers in this game. if they are completely ineffective and useless, why put them in the game? i'm not trying to start an argument, and the sniping does need fixing, i'm just saying, don't use snipers right now and fuck your team up
You hadn't been scoped in for long enough, so the bullet went to a random location in what would be your hip-fire cross hairs. Blame the quickscoping patch, not the hit detection.
I prefer black ops over MW2. I also prefer MW2's sniper over black op's when it got patched. People complain about camping, what do snipers have to do now? Camp. Whats the difference between getting quick scoped and killed instantly by a shotgun, or other weapon? Go cry more faggot

You were moving at the time which meant that the trajectory of the bullet was altered by the sideways motion of the gun.
