I started playing the violin to late I guess, I started at the age of 15 and since I only get to play at school, I guess I will never learn to play any where as good as you! But I will try! You are one of my idols!!
yeah... I know what that piece from the red violin meant... hahaha... while the guy in the movie was playing it... he was practically moaning... watching it, I felt children should not see it hahaha
Do not be offended by this guy's comments. Remember Antonio Vivaldi. Many, maybe most of his compositions were played by orphaned girls, and on a wide variety of instruments. Plus, the violin's voice can only be approached naturally by that of a female. So all the guys are basically trying to mimic the heights of the female voice for drama.
The Red Violin inspired me to take up the violin and making them as a hobby. I love Corigialno's work with this score. I must say, when will you visit Australia???
It's because this clip was my first glimpse of you in "teacher mode" -- you're such a natural I almost forgot that, well, you're a bit better known for other things! So I was freshly shocked whenever you'd illustrate a point: "ZOMGWTFBBQ all this, AND she plays pro-level violin? ... Oh, wait ..."
Can't wait to hear what's next from you ... with all due respect, please -- you go ON, girl!
@RachelBartonPine Miss Pine, please let me know if you will ever come back to Albuquerque to perform with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra. I enjoyed watching you play your happy-birthday variations for their 75th anniversary a few years ago. Thank you!

Su avilidad es majestuosa, pero la posición en donde tiene la hombrera del violín(en la mitad) daña la estetica de generaciones,
