We used this song for my dad's memorial video. I know if they came to Idaho they could sell out the Knitting Factory!! We have strong Polynesian/Hawaiian communities out here! I am not sure why but you don't have to look far to find Hawaii here in the mountains. Downtown Boise has a wonderful restaurant called Ono's! Hapa please come to IDAHO!!!

I just wanted to say that I love Hapa and the feelings for Hapa run very deep!! My family and I lived in Hawaii when I was a tween and my sister has never left. She has been there for 30 years. We have always called Hawaii our home away from home. My parents loved Hawaii and my dad loved Hapa. Before he died of cancer 2 years ago he would listen to Hapa to go to a peaceful place.

This haole misses Hawaii so much! I lived there for three years and this song was new and being played on the radio constantly just before I left - it still makes me weep. Singing, playing, dancing - such a beautiful culture!
