What makes Kelly Clarkson so talented and unique is the way she sings. She sings directly from the heart and feels each one of the words she says. I love both Carrie and Kelly. I think Carrie has amazing clarity and range, but quite frankly - her singing ability is rather one-dimensional. Kelly can do all that but also consistently demonstrates unbelievable versatility, soul, and control. She can sing anything on the planet and make it sound great.

Okay okay. No doubt about it, Kelly does have a more soulful voice than Carrie, and both Carrie and Kelly are VERY talented. I love both. However, I do not like how Kelly changed up the tempo, melody, and the words. If you're going to sing someone elses song, have the decency to leave it the way it was made. There was NOTHING wrong with Carrie's version. Why change what doesn't need to be fixed, ya know? I'm glad Kelly likes Carrie's music though, wish they would duet =/

@carshe209 i totally agree with you, the carrie fans who come on a kelly video to spew their crap ruin it for me, because of them i can't stand carrie and will not buy her records. it's the voice people not how much they weigh or how many records they sold. to me kelly is better but carrie does have a good voice, but i don't go on carrie's videos to say that. ( i come on kelly's videos instead LOL) :)
