of course ness respects Dylan, and who wouldn't? Dylan was one of the greatest songwriters of all time, some would argue the best. I absolutely love his lyrics. I just prefer Mike Ness's voice to that of Dylan's. Yeah, I like this version a bit better than the original, but I give Dylan the credit for creating such a good piece of music

bob got the song from paul Clayton's "Who's Goin' to Buy You Ribbons When I'm Gone and changed a few lines around.mikes not the first to cover it. johnny cash did a cover too.
and i think thats where mike got it as johnny cash was one of mikes influences growing up. no matter where it came from mike makes it his own. rock on mike!
