Can anyone that has already played this before explain the plot and stuff to me? I mean, the graphics and stuff are neat, but I'm not the brightest crayon in the box and I just don't understand this game really at all. So, if someone doesn't mind, would they please tell me what's suppose to be going on and stuff? ^_^

Ya know, as I watch this, I can't help but scream "turn on your lantern already!" I find it kind of funny you haven't realized at this point that you HAVE a constant light-source. I'm hoping you do eventually realize it at some point in the game, or you'll probably never get far, if my experience with the demo is any indication >.>

@Adran06 Except it runs out of oil/fuel rather quickly, and is not truly a constant light source in that sense. You do have to conserve your use of the lantern similar to how you would conserve ammo in your more traditional action survival horror games. Keeping it on at all times will do you no good.

You should do Silent hill 8 when it comes out. This feels more like kind of horror game you would play casually, not something someone should lp. I thing for full effect someone must play it on thier own.

I don't know why people don't like this game. There wasn't a moment when I wasn't nervously looking over my shoulder. This game is actually scary, unlike other games that claim to be in the horror genre.

@SirCashbox That's because most people are under the false impression that horror means blasting zombies with an assault rifle.

Frictional Games have so far given us 4 great games that even while watching someone else play can scare the hell out of you and keep you on edge.

In my opinion these guys do great honor to the horror survival genre and have created perfect games for it.

Man, the first five and a half minutes of this video were painful. The whole time I was saying "The note already told you to go to the damn wine cellar!". Pay attention and the game will move at a good pace, man.
