soundtrack: GOD AWFUL (its just 3 tracks besides the hub worlds)

powerups: meh (tanooki: good, poison mushroom: are you fuckin kidding me?!)

controls: fine (it gets very wonky in the 2D scrolling levels)

level design: fine (i dont understand why they didnt make the levels have a theme in each world)

gameplay: so much like mario galaxy that they should have just made mario galaxy 3DS

Ausrey is the best reviewer. I feel like the other reviewers sometimes gives out unfair Minuses, but she doesn't. Like in 3D land. A slow start isn't something you ignore. First inpression is inportant, but most fans ignore that later, which is why it only lost 0.5 points. And yes, a small rooster is too something that can be a little anoying, because different characthers is fun. Like in brawl. it doesn't matter if its a clone. As long as the face is new, im fine. Hmmmm, after listening to this, im actually diappointed on a few levels. :( I hoped for the bikes to be back, and also the graphics dont look the best. I know i shouldnt judge and it will be better in 3D once i get it (i am crazy about the Mario Kart series, have played every one). Oh well, the new courses look awesome and so do the new powerups, time to go and buy it :D

The thing I hate about Mario Kart 7 is that the items are so unbalanced,I mean who gets a star while being on 2nd or 1st? Or who gets a golden mushroom or 3 mushrooms while being in 1st? The green shells hit more than the red shells too,the chances to also get a lightning in last place are so low,I mean everytime I'm in last place,it's really rare for me to even get a lightning let alone a bullet bill. Nintendo should really fix the items.

I would take off a point for the new and horrible way that red and blue shells can hit you. Red shells can follow you anywhere you go, like over wide pits and through the air.

Blue shells have become more unfair. Say in Waluigi Pinball when you go up that narrow tunnel at the start of the race. A Blue Shell won't wait until you get through, but hit you in mid-flight and cause you to respawn at the start of the tunnel.

This is a nice video, but there are some faults that the reviewer made.

1. Mario Kart has not been on EVERY Nintendo platform. The original Game Boy, Virtual Boy and Game Boy Color didn't have a version.

2. You expect a portable console to have as much/more characters than a home console?

3. Are you going to mention how you can only carry 10 coins in MK7 while you can carry more in the SNES version?

4. Mirror Mode was in Double Dash and Coin Runners was in MK DS and MK Wii. They are NOT new.

MarioKart 7 is somewhat a buggy game.

-You can easily get disconnected if you have mediocre connection.

(If you get disconnected during WorldWide, then you lose some vr.)

-At some points, when you unlock new characters, the game doesn't respond to the buttons or touching the screen. So you have to restart the game.

-Maka Wuhu is glitched.
