  • Low carb diets make you sick as fuck at first

  • very interesting video

  • Low carb = low cal. That's why it works. Plain and simple. When you remove one whole macronutrient from your plate, you reduce your calories by approx 1/3rd. Was nothing to do with food type. You can lose weight eating pasta, or rice, or yams. So long as you run a calorie deficit. I eat lean protein, carbs, fat. I just eat less and I exercise more. I lost 30 lbs in 4 months and kept it off 2 yrs now. Eat from smaller plates. Ur eyes see a full plate, but ur eating less. Go walking too

  • @reptilianskin This is not true. I counted calories from my former way of eating and then when I went on a low-carb for 6 weeks. I lost 22 and hit my goal. During that time period, I ate roughly the same amount of calories. Granted on days, I was a couple hundred under, but on days, I was a couple hundred over. In my case, I was eating roughly the same amount. I've come to believe that "calories" are not the deciding factor.

  • @reptilianskin Not true, i eat a lot of food, and still lost weight.

  • I'm at tha start of my 60 day low carb, no white food diet .

    I wanna lose a stone...Wish me luck!

  • @HitchHikersBlues I'm sure you've done well. :-)

  • has anyone else noticed that even though "low-carb diets" (i.e. eating good carbs in fruits and veggies, etc.) are what really show results, the bottom of the food pyramid is all carbs (i.e. 6-11 servings PER DAY of it)? that's why i don't listen to mainstream sources anymore.

  • @chazkez07 Welcome to the world of nutrition. The foods promoted have nothing to do with health and well being.

Read any "health advice " book by gov , dieticians etc and you will find lovely propagandistic remarks such as "grains are essential part of diet". based on no science at all.

    All for money

  • @Donal277

have you seen the gwyneth paltrow workout video? it's hilarious.

  • Online Asian wives **lushfmlk.info**

  • Fair enough. I'm down 50 lbs in 5 months on a low-carb diet. I had to cut down exercise, because it made me so hungry. I find that the weeks that I exercise less are the weeks that I lose more. Once the weight's off I will start working out more.

  • this man speaks truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are good(complex) and bad(simple.) carbohydrates.

How do I know? I've stopped working out for over a year and increased processed(simple) carb foods greatly, even replaced water with sugary(simple) drinks!

Guess what.....I got the extra 50 POUNDS that proves it!

Now it's time to lose it all with low carb ANDDDDDDDDD switching from simple to complex carbs too!

    lol

    This man speak truth,

    peace!

  • low carb, low fat, high fat... in the end it comes down to calories in vs calories out. the only reason low carb works is because it lowers your apetite. And how the hell are you gonna get enough energy to work out if on a low carb diet? how are you going to spike your insuline levels to create power and lift more weight? You need carbs to keep most of your muscle

  • i agree. this is by far the most sensible comment a youtuber has given .

  • @Chaaarge Wrong. You need proteins to keep muscle. You need glucagon to burn fat and give you energy while you are exercising. Insulin and carbohydrates lead to fat deposits, period.

  • @cronx1337 Actually, you need to lift weights to keep muscle. This causes muscles to adapt. Carbs are also protein sparing, so if you were to rely on proteins and fats for energy, this would actually waste the protein you need to repair your muscle. Of course we need protein, just not a lot of it

  • Comment removed

  • @Chaaarge Again this is all palaver. Proteins are used by ALL cells to rebuild the cell, in the event there isnt enough then the body will break down muscle. Muscle only shrinks (atrophy) from lack of exercise. You need 1-1.5 grams of protein per lean weight per day, thats 100 grams at most for all of you per day. Anything less and your muscles will simply shrink, and your metabolism will decrease. You do not NEED carbohydrates AT ALL, your brain can use ketones just fine.

  • I've been on a lo-carb diet for over 14 years. The amount of cholesterol I consume should qualify me for a French Passport, yet my chol is around 143-152 for over a decade. My triglycerides are also well within normal limits.

Lo-carb diets are simply the best. You get your blood sugar at a healthy range and get off the glycemic roller-coaster and the pounds melt away, even without exercise.

I'm sick of bogus experts claiming "they" have proven otherwise. Lo-carb is the best way to lose weight!

  • @DeathToAllReligions deathtoreligions lol

  • @DeathToAllReligions Absolutely, they have their heads stuck in books and in the lab, meanwhile there are millions of people like us proving them wrong.

  • @DeathToAllReligions Depends on how you do it.. If you consume only red meats it is very toxic for your body. If you take the veggy route is alot healthier

  • @DeathToAllReligions well said and EXTREMELY true!!!!!!!!

  • @DeathToAllReligions It's also the most healthy way to eat. Nothing is better for good health.

  • Low carb diets work.

  • Good video. this was very educational and better to learn from experts than going on fad diets that dont work

  • Good vid. Low carb diets can and do work, but more education is needed to be really healthy.

  • Way to often people are peddling gimmicks to lose weight. Everyone needs to watch more videos like this to become better educated on eating.

  • Very Informative more true than the other garbage you hear. Low Glycemic Carbs,Metabolic typing and eliminating food sensitivies and proper exercise are all essential to fat loss.
