each speedometer is made by considering many factors. companies are not buying it from a supermarket. meters are built by considering the tyre size and as u said the distance it can travel from a single rotation. Is that clear??

dude it's the same speed for bus and car it doesn't matter anyway because bus is passing the same amount of length as the car is passing the only thing that differs is rpm(revolution/minute) because buses have larger tires than a car does.

Merc Benz /Audi/VW/BMW.. have Traction Control System(TCS) also know as ESP(Electronic Stabilization Program) that will control the vehicle through the curve by regulating the differential....its no wonder this bus doing 130 through that curve! :D

the speed of a bus and a car does differ...the thing which makes it different is the MASS of the object...a bus runnung at 120 kmph and a car at 120 kmph, there is a huge difference...the bus will be ahead of the bus

Here in the UK a bus driver I know has had over 100mph ( 160km/h ) out of his bus. It's a standard Volvo. But it has an amazing engine. I think it's a Volvo b10m van hool alizee T8. It has gone round the clock twice and is still running great. It is a bit loud and smokey on a cold morning but that thing is fast as hell wherever you go in it. Trust me it's fast.

@bunnyp1983 nice video,we have Merc(Taj Travels) in Punjab too and the drivers talk shit about it,they say it is nothing in front of VOLVO Buses.It is very bad on pickup,comfort and fuel efficiency.But i personally checked the braking of the bus.I was chasing the bus 90Km/hr(on 220) and suddenly a cow came at the front,the bus stopped before hitting the animal,luckily i was behind the bus and at a side.Hats off to braking because the bus was full and my friend was in the bus tlking to the driver

thr is a lot of differences in rotations of tyres!!! if ur a6 r a4 hd 3-4 rotations tht is equal to 1 rotation of bus!!! if bus is clocking 120km/h u need to hit 140km/h!!!

dear friend rpm has nothing to do with wheels , it is crank rotation per mintues, higher and lower rpm depends on engine size and type like diesel or petrol.

anything less that 150 kmph is only fair. It's very common to have multiaxle buses abroad do up to 160-180 kmph (in Europe etc.)
