  • Contemporary African thriller - don't take this book on a safari holiday!

    amazon.com/Liquidator-Iain-Parke/dp/0956161502/

  • great movie ,wake up call for the world

  • very misleading title...thought this was about mexicans

  • @Boodabor lmfaooooo

  • looks awesome.... thanks for the trailer.

  • thank god i didn't watch this trailer before watching the actual film... makes it look like crap compared to how amazing it really is.

  • this is a really good and sad movie

  • ah fuck bhye ya i seen this its pretty good the trailer is wach tho.

  • Beautiful movie, the direction is impecable, everything is so sentimental and impressive, Rache Weisz, the best performance of the last years.

  • Beautiful movie.

  • Bad Trailer, Good Movie. Seems like they made this trailer back in the 90s, bad style of choice.

  • Excellent film and, as such, not for retarded, desperate-for-action people.

  • of course simple-minded people won't get this movie. I'm not surprised the fickle minds of youtube are bashing it. Go back to watching re-runs of The Hills.

  • @backto1960 Not bashing the movie because I enjoyed it, but this film is quite straight-forward. You don't have to be particularly intelligent to "get it".

  • @statdis what's straight-forward to you is quatum physics to vapid internet trolls...you'll be surprised.

  • really nice movie. always love rachel weisz

  • no ur the retard if u think this movie was amazing..it was garbage!..the cinematography was appaling..rachel wiez was good but not oscar worthy....it had a good storyline BUT it was NOT dellievered properly..the only thing i liked about it was it raises ur awarness about africa..it's troubling..but overall this movie was pretty bad

  • ughhh this movie is overatedddd...it's so painful to watch because the cinematograpy is horrendous..not sure why rachel weiz won an oscar for this croc of crap either.. because she died in the first 45 min(oopps spoiler alert)the movie is 2 hrs long mind you..this is the second movie of hers that i hate..the first one was the foutain..she should have stuck to the mummy and called it a day..

ralph finnes was o.k in this but not great overall i give this movie an F-..:)

  • what are u talking about...i can comment about anything i want to..you go watch aeon flux and have a seat..this film was horrible get over it...

  • lol gurrrl is it that bad? also wut does cinamatography mean...likethe way tis directed?

  • LOL! yes it horrible..first off they lied and said this was a thriller..more like a drama..that was the first offense.. the cinematography is like the lighting and position of the camera..the cinematographer was on crackkk it terrible..it was all shaky and amature like..that was the second offense..acting was NOT oscar worthy..rachel wiez was in this movie for 45 min and gets an oscar?? that was the third offense..three strikes and ur OUTTTT

  • lol ya the trailer aint look that appealing to me...lolerz hav u seen cloverfield? GOD it gave me a headache cuz the camera was going nuts loll

aww i like rachel but mostly when shes in the mummy, i wouldnt watch her in this tho cuz it doesnt seem so promising...

  • the trailer LIED! cloverfield was stupid..LOL yeah the camera was shaking throughout..

rite rachel belongs in the mummy..this movie was a disaster!

  • lol ya imma stay clear of dis movie then LOL...

wut is this movie even about? its rated R so i doubt i'd be watching...is it even interesting

  • LOOOL please do!

some kind of conspiracy thing in africa which isn't out of the realm of possibilities..BUT they didn't put it togther rite.. it was all over the place..i blame the director..and yeah it's rated R.. the movie makes you think about the nation of africa.. that's pretty much it..

  • ahhh i seee..lwell i prefer her in the mummy its more exciting anywayz lol

    who are ur fave directors?

  • martin scorcese <3 spike lee and steven spielberg that's pretty much it at this point...

  • i like him did u watch the departed? good movie...spike lee ehh nvr heard of him and steven speilburg hes a genius

  • of course i watched the deaprted amazzinggg <3 have u heard of the malcom malcom x, inside man, or do the right thing..those are all spike lee movies..and yeah steven is a genius..he doesn't direct anymore :( BUT i still love him

  • nahh i havent, ill check him out tho

yup steven is insane he can direct any movie and make it loook god...hes onw a lot of oscars too

oomhh gurl theres a big fight going on between itskingsleybitch and sum hater, did u check it out

omg ikr hes the best, btw imma messgae u cuz its better tlaking there lolz

  • the departed was great indeed but personaly i liked the original version over the remake, i think internal affairs was better then the departed

  • the departed was amazing..love martin scorcese<3 never seen "internal affairs" i'll check it out..and yeah i heard about inside man 2 :)

  • oh yeah btw they making "Inside man 2" :)

  • you do know the departed was a remake of hong kongs "internal affairs" right?

  • of course, i speak cantonese of course i know

    btw its "INFERNAL" not internal

  • yeah i acvtualy manage to amke the typo twcie fucking amazing

  • Based on a true story, of the ghouls at Pfizer experimenting on Nigerian children without consent in 1996 & killing them, then jumping on a plane and fleeing back to the US, hoping no one would notice. Finally in 2009 a tenacious team of a Nigerian and Connecticut lawyer got Pfizer to settle for $75 million on one aspect of the case. Other legal actions are still pending, including murder indictments. Pfizer has done its best to obfuscate, falsifying documents, firing whistleblowers. Scum.

  • Wonderful movie, loved it. It makes you THINK, so it is not for everyone.

  • What a boring movie.

  • Good movie.

  • Another excellent book is "Half Of A Yellow Sun" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The book helps shed some light on the Biafran War during the break up of Nigeria. With the American's and the UK vilifying the Muslim world why did they help them murder innocent non-Muslim and Christian African's? This is an eye opening exploration of a very important time in our world, which once again garnered very little exposure at the time.

  • I read it too and I can recommend it.

  • i dont understand why rachel weisz got an oscar for this movie, she was in like the first 15 minutes of it, and that was it.

i do love ralph fiennes in just about anything he does, hes a brilliant actor.

  • yeah like did you ever see "flawless" i saw it cause it had michael caine in it, and it hardly had him in it. do you recommend me seeing this movie though?

  • yeah, ralph fiennes is amazing in it.

  • Even if I didn't understand all of the movie the first time I saw it, I think it's a beautiful movie, with amazing shots and lanscapes. The picture is simply beautiful and the colors are brilliant

  • i'm gonna go rent it tomorrow, looks awesome

  • this movie is fantastic! there should be more political movies about the 3rd world and how the western countries cynically use them and pretending to be helping

  • fcinterplayer: Better still, hire the DVD & watch it with your entire family from ages 0-120yrs and also as many friends & colleagues as possible.

It is NOT violent yet SAD, because it simply portrays REALITY, yes! sadly the TRUTH & HORROR of what IS & has been going down on my most beloved AFRICAN continent & in ALL so-called 3rd World countries, where naive, desperate & ever-so trusting people can be sought in abundance ...

  • -in other words, those poor victims whom 'they' -THE PHARMAFIA ESTABLISHMENT & their vast array of cohorts, including thousands of so-called NGO's & ORG's or whatever, feed off & perform their horrendous GENOCIDAL atrocities upon!

ALL only ever in the name of sheer GREED!

Never be fooled by the roles played by the FDA, CDC & 'WHO' (The World Health Org), because they are all BED PARTNERS, all equally as CORRUPT as one another & with total disregard for precious lives - esp. those of colour!

  • why the poor ratings? some people just don't get stuff...it is a slightly complex plot.

  • this film is not just fiction!!!cause money makes the world go round..and most people will do anything to get it..

  • was this an anti-capitalism movie? i haven't seen it.but, many people, who already watched it, said to me 'they implicitly had a message of anti-capitalism'.is that right?

  • anti CORRUPTION, CalciumKid85 unless you think that contriving the misery of OTHERS is your ticket to obscene wealth. There is no WE in corruption tinyurl com/358qy4 We want your soul!! tinyurl com/368jrg ~~~ Spread Love. BlueBerry Pick'n ThisCanadian com ~~~ "We, two, form a Multitude" ~ Ovid. ~~~ "Silent Freedom is Freedom Silenced"
  • It's anticapitalist of course, as things should be. It will try to explain you in a for-blindly-dumb-people manner why having or not having capital (money) is not enough reason to live or to die. I can see still some people don't even bother trying to understand such an evident thing.

  • I love Fiennes in this movie!

  • I wish Rachel Weisz be here in our school 2 talk about good things like us doing the Nintendogs Sing - along - Gina

  • LOVED this film, pity the trailer insisted on trying to jazz it up and 'Americanise' it a bit.
