  • Luc Besson !!!!!!

  • I was getting SO uninterested up until 1:08 lol

  • And then fucking americans ruined this film by making a tv show remake with an ugly ass chink girl. *facepalm*

  • 1:48 LOL xD!

  • Bob is so hot!

  • i'm kinda ashamed to say that I hadn't seen the liaison with the american version when i watched this abt 2 yrs ago but for my defense i watched the american version when i was pretty young but hey, they're both great! And i'm getting kinda getting used of finding out that most of the great hollywood movies or/and shows are actually remakes... Such a shame!! really...

  • It is now 2012 just watched La Femme Nikita, because I use to watch it when I was a teenager, it was a thrill back then for me to watch it every Saturday Night. Now 22 years later I just watched it cause I was surfing the t.v. and nothing else to watch it was really boring.

  • all the catching moments from La femme nikita tv serie is just moments from the movie!

  • Oh my goodness, the French actor who plays as Nikita's boyfriend/husband in the film is SO ADORABLE! Just saying. I'm such a sucker for cute French guys. ^_^

  • @Jamesjason1 Eminem*

  • great woman!

  • the remake is horrible...

because when a foreign movie is great as this one hollywood tries to prove they can make a better version of it...

  • @DahlemDorf They did it because dubbing it would've fucked up the movie, and people don't want to watch movies with subs. I'm not one of those people at all, and this one is obviously superior to the remakes, but get your facts straight.

  • well thats shameful... people should always watch beautiful foreign films wherever they come from regardless of subs that are superior to the shit made in holiwud...

  • wait, this is the same as the Point of no Return. right?

  • Great movie, even better music typical for those French movies in the end of the 80's and beginning 90's.

  • huh.

  • im addicted to the SHOW nikita i love it said it was based on this movie there very different, anyways i love the show much much more

  • Nikita is my name... im a guy D:

  • I was under the mistaken impression that the remake was by the same director. At points it looks like a scene by scene reshoot, except crappier.

  • ALL the American Nikita versions were and are DUST. Less than dust, they are laughable. The only one that counts is Mr. Besson's genius creation, with her deep and truly sick relationship with OOnk-luh Bub. Nothing's better than a Besson film--they're stylish and funny and creepy and original. So what if the ocasional one is silly? Silly compared to mainstreem American film? What a laugh! And I'm American!

  • @marginallymental ^5. I let of smoke bombs in a theater when Point Of No Return came out. It showed the world that we were equal to Europe, just with big boobs, huge explosions and a maximum of two syllables a word.

  • J'adore le film et la musique..Mon Film depuis toujours.............

  • fr. nikita was the best

  • Un de mes films préférés de Besson !!!!

  • I was a fan of Luc Besson's the fifth element, but I'm wondering if Nikita is worth watching. Although, I'm not generally keen on French cinema that much.

  • nikitawww

  • she has aoug stayer cool

  • Eric Serras music is a huge part of Bessons films. Good to see Besson back directing again too.

  • i think the American version would have been good if this hadnt existed..

look closely yanks...its far from a compliment x

  • Mick Jagger at his best.

  • wat is that song at the beginning of the video? absolutely awesome

  • assassin with a Desert Eagle.. not bloody likely

  • actually it s hard me to understand why the american made a remake of this Besson masterpiece, a very bad remake BTW !

wasn't more simple to put english subtitles, that way the american can really discover what s foreign cinema ?

  • @cyrilconnection That's what we do. We make bad remakes of foreign films. Once in a great while, we make a good remake of one of our own, but...what are you gonna do?

  • @cyrilconnection You're right it would be better if they only put subtitles, but as always whenever there's a successful foreign film Hollywood buys the rights for the American version wanting to make profit. Makes me cringe how many movies they've butchered like this, Darkprose did say we sometimes are able to pull off one of our own, but unfortunately its very rare. I wish Hollywood would start moving away from "remakes" and let a classic stand on its own.

  • Why won't anyone post the scenes with Victor The Cleaner??

  • Lol I speak swedish and 99 % of all films i watch are in english. So I´m gonna have to read the subtitles if I don´t want to miss half the point. Actually I would prefer subtitle even for a swedish film, I think it´s easier! The actors don't always speak clearly

  • The original and best.

  • this looks so stupid, I prefer the new now NIkita on CW seems much better and she looks tons better, and she knows how to act, this looks like another lame french movie which is too bad cause the french does alot of great movies for romance because for action they aren't the brightest or best but the worst

  • @kazper333 I beg to differ with you, good sir.

Your outrageous comment made me sign in just to reply.

You need to watch this movie, preferably the Blu-ray edition, RIGHT away, and wake up.

I really don't know what to say next, I think your comment is horrible. :\

This is the one film where(to mention some factors) filming, acting and use of emotions is superb, the action is great and no scene is rushed through like in the general action-related movie.

    ( Yes, yes, opinions.. :) )

  • @Calle2k i agree whole heartedly! i watched this myself years ago with english subtitles and it was brilliant i watched (not even half of) it again afew years later with an english DUB and something was seriously lost in the translation and i havn;t been able to find the original with english subtitles one again...so sad! such a great film. lots of emotion yes

and dont get me started on any remake, especially American!...*vomits*

  • @trje246 Great! You can order the original(with subtitles) from several places on the Internet at least. I must say; my first time watching it was the highly detailed Blu-Ray version with *Quite awesome* sound as well.- If you want to watch it again I would recommend watching that version with a nice TV and surround-setup!

Oh the remakes... Yes, let's just stop now.

  • @Calle2k cheers mate! i'll check it out, thanks!

  • @kazper333 THIS IS THE ORIGINAL. There would be not Nikita on CW without this film. People like you depress the fuck out of me.

  • @kazper333 Really? Do you know anything about movies or acting or originalty? That show wouldnt even exsist if this classic piece of cinema hadnt been made.

  • @kazper333 You sir are completely ignorant when it comes to good taste in action movies. The French Nikita is one of the best action thrillers ever made. I'm sorry but everything that carries the same name afterwards is pure shite.

  • the French make great films

  • No pues si ha habido cambio con las nikitasAhora ya se ve como más refinada jajajajjaja

  • I had sex with Nikita at a Russian bath house.

  • ... la auténtica femme NIKITA, la de Anne Parillaud cumple 20 años!!! otra joya de Luc Besson...

  • so shes like 60 now in the show wtf?

  • @LINX29X92

    20+20 = 60??? )))

  • oh my, it's exactly the same. why, why would they do this?

  • anyone know who does the song that starts at around 1:20? thanks.

  • @itsnastyd It's called "NPOKMOP". It's from the soundtrack, constructed by Eric Serra and you can get it on iTunes

  • What was the point of remaking this film two years later? And to cast Bridget Fonda of all people. So even almost 20 years ago Hollywood was running out of ideas. Whats even worse is they almost didnt add anything new to the material except change the boyfriends proffesion-it was like watching the new Pshyco-a shot for shot remake without any of the freshness or excitement that the original had.

  • @blaxican77 I know, the American one was terrible!!

  • @blaxican77 ...The main point of remaking of Nikita was it had a very good story but the language was french and you know majority of people in world don't understand french but English and im gald they remake that movie otherwise i wouldn't know there was a film called "Nikita".

  • @0kwhoisnext Clearly you have never heard of subtitles or of other cultures beyond your own. Stop looking at the world through such narrow perspective. Their is a world out there larger then you know. Travel!

  • @Moviebro ..i know but it just takes too much energy if you watch movie and read the subtitle at the same time. Only deaf people watch and read subtitle at the same time.

  • @0kwhoisnext Actually real fans of film watch subtitled films.

  • @Moviebro ..while reading subtitle you basically miss half of the movie and than you have to watch it second time and that is waste of time. most people do not prefer subtitle for english movies.

  • @blaxican77 1, all need jobs; 2, will most go to see this watched 20 years ago?; 3, statistics suggest this might be a hit.

  • @blaxican77 It would have been ok to remake it if they hadnt made so many Americanization changes.

the film was a load of rubbish

  • @BladeRunner21577, rubbish? which one? this one, or the one with bridget? i liked them both. but i didn´t know this one, until yesterday.

  • @Nudelsalatbomber i mean the American version, it isnt even a good movie let alone a good Americanization of the French movie.

Only an American movie would replace a Desert Eagle with a SOCOM

  • @blaxican77 Why even raise the subject of the crappy U.S. one? Just enjoy this...

  • @blaxican77 Wow, hollywood pulled a bollywood!

  • @blaxican77 nina (the remake) is shit compared to this OPERA, luc besson is god
