i got 635 bux in my regal w/crap tires i ran a 14.2@99.58mph. 200bux for int, 170 for downpipe, 225 for a single 3in exh.,40 for pulley. pulley was free but still added the cost. 120 for retune would get me about a 13.8 or better if i could launch like i want but at 163k miles susp. is lacking. add 500 for headers to that and my buddy's GTP ran a 14.00@99.98. 4dr GTP is 200lb heavier than my 4dr regal. his retune would get a mid to low 13.

My love for Muscle cars started at 14 when I saw a 1964 Mustang for sale. But more than 10 years later I've seen what's out here & Mustangs are a common lot. You don't see that many 80's Camaro's or supercharged V-6 motors running around.

i got 635 bux in my regal w/crap tires i ran a 14.2@99.58mph. 200bux for int, 170 for downpipe, 225 for a single 3in exh.,40 for pulley. pulley was free but still added the cost. 120 for retune would get me about a 13.8 or better if i could launch like i want but at 163k miles susp. is lacking. add 500 for headers to that and my buddy's GTP ran a 14.00@99.98. 4dr GTP is 200lb heavier than my 4dr regal. his retune would get a mid to low 13.

Maybe you should learn how to read. Nobody said anything about a STOCK gtp. I clearly know that a stock gtp cannot beat any mustang GT newer than a mid 90's model. However if I had to choose between a Mustang GT or Cobra & a supercharged GTP or GTX, I'd have to go with the GTP car. Why you ask? hmmm sneaky sneaky, i just shopped around for parts the headers and rocker arms were the most expensive parts but plus i did everything myself so no labor expense

only mods i have done to that car is headers, cai, bigger throttle body, electric fan. thats it. less than $1,000 invested.. dave, what do you all have done to your car?

PCM 1.0, Ramair K/N, 3.25 pulley, 1.9 rocker arms, headers, magnaflows, thrasher shift kit, autolite 104's, no cat, ubend delete, gatorback belt about $950.00 worth i just figured it up

a tip from a fellow GP owner, gatorbacks dont grip the pulley the best. go to zzperformance and read the wirte up.
