Oh and he is 3 stepping. Very rare for a middle schooler that height!
I would tell him to 4 step and he would be faster but then wouldn't want him to be stuck in that habit. As you can see, he is stretching toward the end because he is tired. Stretching makes you run slower because instead of PUSHING forward, he is now PULLING forward.
dude that reminded me of when I was in middle school. I am asian too and nobody thought I was fast. the second place kid was always like two hurdles behind lol I also had these thick glasses that keeps slipping around
This guy is good proper form and when he jumps he leans also he 3 steps thats rare because he looks like he's in middle school good job keep it up

well you need to stick to 3 steps
i have been hurdling for 10 years and was in the GB squad 110m Hurdles in 13,6 secs at 18 years of age
keep at it you will get better. But you need to get down to 13secs in 100 metre hurdles

14 year of age you must have been running 100 metre hurdles and 16.2 is poor hope you're better at J.V
pete741000 10 months ago
Mate what are you on about 4 steps??????? obviously youve never hurdled before??
The guy just needs to increase his speed and concentrate on technique
If you did 4 steps in a race you would lose EVERYTIME
pete741000 1 year ago
@pete741000 yeah i use to do that and i ran 21's embarrasing right . but then i got a better technique and i'm on j.v 14 years old running 16.2
