It is a very transformative experience. At first I thought I wouldn't do a good job, but then I quickly felt inspired. I found it to be healing to make as well as the responses I received from people watching it (which surprised me). I usually find it difficult to tell my story in a few words, but making a video is a way of telling the story and using other ways of telling...through photos, music, art, dance etc. Seeing all the videos has been healing for me because it shows we are not alone!
This was the most amazing thing I ever participated in... I was able to look at myself not as a victim, but as a brave warrior. I know now that I am no alone.. <3
