+R = Recordable (one time usage or until the disc is full)

+RW = Rewritable (You can use the same disc over and over for the life of the disc and until the capacity of the disc is full.)

Hey dude u followed all of your steps but 1 didn't work. Its the disc that doesn't work or the recorder. It reads the disc and I press record and when I check to see what it recorded it had nothing on it. But I didnt use the same disc so do u think that's it?

This may have already have been asked, but I first tried this with a "DVD-R" disc and it recorded but wouldnt play through my computer. so i re-watched the video and saw that you said i needed a "DVD-RW" disc. so i got one and went to put it into my DVD recorder (Which specifically says it records "DVD-R" AND "DVD-RW" discs, but it never stops saying that its reading the "DVD-RW" discs. My question is.... Will new DVD-RW discs fix my problem?
