I hope you're still doing the film thing. First times are almost always end up being off. My first film was a guy running from one side of campus to the other just to get to his poptart.

I had a different opinion. I Imagine that the girl in the video is going on about her day, as usual, and the video highlights these few extraordinary moments beyond the mundane. Almost as if daily routines are black and white (a play on words to the song), and she's breaking through that at these moments. To me the walking up the stairs is a closing, as it dictates the idea of rising up, so it does tell a story, artistic interpretation is only limited by the relationships you're able to make.

I think this song is about people who fail to see the "gray" areas in life, people who only see in black and white. I'm like this and after a while, it becomes very lonely. All or nothing personalities are not attractive, usually drama queens are like this, too. @SuperUkuleleGirl I have a quite suver (cant spell lol) case of colorblindness I guess you could say. I can see black, white, and shades of gray. If you watch a colorless movie, I believe that would be the best way to explain it. I only guess at that sence I have nothing to compair to that to.

Only a few months before a good friend passed away in an accident he had written down on a piece of paper that he would like this song player at his funeral if he was to pass. Little did any of us know that we would be in that predicament soon after. Beautiful song, reminds me of him everytime I hear it.

@m109r1800 I respect your choice to believe in whatever is it that you do believe in, but that is not why I put this comment on here. I was just pointing out the irony of this song to the situation I had been through. I used the term "passed away" as a gental alternative to "died" with no other intention behind it. No offense to you or your belief of corse, its just not what i was referring to :)

@BlakeMacey colourblindness is when you can't seethe difference between certain colours that others can distinguish not when you can't see colour. I dunno what the hell you have..

@SuperUkuleleGirl I have a quite suver (cant spell lol) case of colorblindness I guess you could say. I can see black, white, and shades of gray. If you watch a colorless movie, I believe that would be the best way to explain it. I only guess at that sence I have nothing to compair to that to.
