Not to fast kido. Russia tried that in the 1970's and Russia was part of a more powerful USSR bloc, China wasn't afraid of them back then, they had skirmishes at the border. They still have those border issues. China can just swallow a big chunk of Russia up. Russia, with its dwindling population, is not comfortable with a neighbor whose 1.5 billion population can just cross-over the border.

They are only calculating with the information available.
Russians have been smart and not cocky, very little information about russia is availeble to the world, that is why NATO is on their ass all the time. They have kept their position in the world as a country that noone wants to fuck with, and that without showing off.

The only thing the U.S. Government is doing is being nosy, because most of the actions that are being made are not a part of the "job description" per say. What I mean by that is that the U.S. gets involved in issues that are not in the U.S. Constitution and have violated it many times, like the Japanese Internment Camps. :/
