I've never understood the appeal. Someone elses frame, stock tank or outsourced, outsourced paint, motors off the shelf, someone else does the wheels. I could do this crap in my sleep. It was the show that made these guys interesting, their fab skills and creativity are ave at best. The old school builders that pounded out all the metal by hand, those dudes should have the teutuls money.

Paul Jr is an amazing designer and bike builder but his work ethic leaves alot to be desired.I can sometimes see why his old man gets so pissed off at him but without him Sr wouldnt have had such a successful business.

i agree. Jr was the creative mind and hand in the bikes built when he was with OCC. Sr never admitts to it. All he can do is trash talk his son. Like it or not. Paul Jr was there. Sr owes him, and shouldnt have never treated him bad. Its sad. Dudes diggin his own grave, and he knows it. All that pride goin do him in.... and we get to watch it on tv. Life is strange

Sr has some problems.. He has THREE sons that he has pushed aside... EVERYONE is talking about two of them.. Hardly ever hear about the third.. of which at least Jr. and Mikey does keep in contact with. See whats going on... Sr. seems to be very bitter about all his sons, THATS a problem there.

first plz get angry about my english^^. From what i saw on all these occ shows i think both made occ to that what it is now. of course jr did things wrong u cannot leave ur workplace and let other do work and come to work when u want. But he made a lot of nice bikes and Sr is saying he never work. Sr knows how to run a buisnes and hes good in doing that. Just sad that both see what other do wrong and not what they did good.

Nothing more disgusting than that hateful old man Paul Senior. Watch the first few seasons. Senior had absolutely nothing to do with any of the really talented and innovative bike builds. He freely admits it. He has 5 children and he has no relationship with any of them. Senior would have noticed that his son has grown immensely as a businessman and a brother and family member. This would have been a perfect chance to support his son and see that he was starting a business and a family.

I am so happy Paulie got the anti-venom bike out in time for Sturgis even though Sr tried everything he could to stop him. That guy is such a jerk, I stopped watching American Choppers for a while because I got so tired of seeing him scream and yell all the time. I so love the original spider bike and love how he was able to revamp it. His creativity no doubt made OCC what it is today and he will have no trouble OCC. I hope that Rick does some day wise up and leave Paul Sr.

There can no longer be any doubt that Jr. was the talent behind OCC'S rise. His designs made OCC what it is, and his designs will take him past OCC rather quickly.

When watching the old reruns you can see jason and jim poulie stoking the fire to drive a wedge between Sr and Jr even before he was fired and yet Sr seems to forget he fired him. Ive lost all respect for Paul Snr. He's become so driven by money and power that he doesn't acknowledge the very person that helped put them on the map. Did anyone see Sr's FBI chopper? Boy it seemed like a good idea on the drawing board but they totally messed it up and the gun compartments looked gay and the rear gold badge looked like a crap gold nugget. I'll never understand the hate Sr is getting from people. I can see the reason why he has been doing the dick things he has and it's basically his way of small revenge on Jr for Jr saying he wants to destroy Sr and OCC. Let's be honest, that's not happening.
And as much as Jr spits out great design after great design, I think people forget that he is going to rely on nothing but people coming to him for custom bikes while OCC is mainly fueled via production bikes that are streetable.

@BigTravGill I highly doubt that those guys are that big of sellouts that they would give up years of contact with their families simply to get higher ratings. If they were in contact with each other or in cahoots its pretty much guaranteed that it would have gotten out by now. Especially since OCC has let go of a lot of workers during the recession, someone would have said something if it wasn't real.

I've never understood the appeal. Someone elses frame, stock tank or outsourced, outsourced paint, motors off the shelf, someone else does the wheels. I could do this crap in my sleep. It was the show that made these guys interesting, their fab skills and creativity are ave at best. The old school builders that pounded out all the metal by hand, those dudes should have the teutuls money.
