  • 1:40 - 2:23 Epic! The lost sounds of the 80's

  • Coroner Are The Rush Of Thrash Metal! Fuck Yeah!! lml

  • i like more nosferatu, but this song is amazing too

    Coroner rules!

  • Goddamn orgasmic

  • !!!

  • 1.39 to 2.23 = CULT

  • @Nykko29

ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY!!!! Glad, I wasn't the only one with such enlightenment!

  • 200 seconds of pure pleasure. Every time I listen to this it still amazes me that there are only three people making such incredible music.

  • Swiss gods. No equal. Underrated. Masters. Phenomenal.

  • i remember buying this on cassette in 1993 i bought RIP at the same time and for some reason they were really cheap. RIP was like 4.99 and this one i think was like 5 or 6$

  • Thrash + Classical = THIS

    ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡FUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn man!!! what an awesome intrumental!! the guitar player is so good! those solos blew me away haha

  • Seeing these guys at Hellfest with Kreator, Sodom, Ozzy, Judas Priest, Angel WItch, Mekong Delta, Athiest, Skeletonwitch, In Solitude, Opeth to name a few

  • NOSFERATU WILL COME BACK AGAIN

  • Fuck metal archives if anything this album deserves its a 99% rating

  • @Haloman777 I think you meant to say it deserved 100%. You're slip up is ok though. I forgive you. ;)

  • very good!

  • not many bands on the same level as coroner were.

  • Underrated, but absolutely loved and revered by their fans, Coroner never got the recognition they deserved. To this day, I've never heard a guitarist in any thrash/metal band who could solo melodically over this type of music as effectively as Tommy Vitterli. I keep wishing that these guys stay busy and produce more, be it as a reunion, or as solo projects. They are missed.

  • @bcwoodsinc Underrated? They're one of the highest score bands in Metal-Archives.

  • @WolfgangWhiplash not really.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM Yes they are bro. Go check the database.

  • @WolfgangWhiplash they have three albums with scores of 92. that not that high.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM What the fuck are you smoking 92 is an excellent score.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM Considering they only released 4 albums then that means that 3 out of 4 albums are near perfect (92 is pretty close to 100), plus, that 92 is an average of 7 and 6 reviews so they're not underrated at all.

  • @BLACKSABBATH0HM That's pretty damn high man. Comparatively, Ride the Lightning has 93, Peace Sells has 93, and The Legacy has 92. To give a band three 92s in a row is basically saying that they released 3 absolute masterpieces in a row; and Metal Archives is a really tough crowd. I wouldn't say that they're underrated, but they're definitely under-appreciated and deserved a much larger fanbase than they received.

  • @WolfgangWhiplash agreed, I guess people dont understand the word underrated, or I odnt understand it haha

  • PORQUE NO SE JUNTAN YA DE UNA VEZ Y VIENEN A ARGENTINA???!!!!!

  • @MAGOYA100

    Lo mismo digo carajo!!!

  • one of the best bands ever! yes you read that right!

  • best technical thrash band next to toxik

  • @PinkPantherPunk Don't forget Helstar

  • INCREIBLES!!

  • 1:40 to 2:05 makes me fucking cry

  • @PokMadui agreed

  • Comment removed

  • this is incredible..used to have this on cassete..and yes i know i really showed my age there

  • reunite please :'(

  • 0:01 to 3:20 my favorite part

  • This band would have deserved to be for Heavy Metal what THE BEATLES were for Music.

  • Joan, I just meant that the band would have not only deserved a PROPER PLACE in Thrash/Death scene (or whatever label you want to apply to their music) but more in general in the HEAVY/Hard Rock panorama!

In reality they remained few known and scarcely acknowledged even in the more restricted realm of the extreme metal scene.

A sign that also Thrash fans preferences were often ruled by fashions and trends, and many of them were extreme for social or other choices rather than musical tastes

  • srry i did not read anything

  • 1:00

  • 100% agree.

The best euro thrash band ever to me.

    5

  • eruro??, the best thrash band over THE ALL FUCKIN WORLD!!! MIHA!!!

  • Agreed. None other than Coroner have this much originality.

  • @deadhorsea 2nd best. Kreator is the best (just by a little). :)

  • @deadhorsea they're great, but i still like kreator, sodom, exodus, and slayer better

  • @Metalhead121396

That's because you also like cock better.

  • @AugustinusHipponesis first of all, that was completely uncalled for: i was just stating my opinion; RESPECT IT!

second, i never said that i didn't like Coroner, i just said that I liked the bands i listed above better; Coroner is great

third, it's not like i'm throwing out some core bands, saying that they are better than the great Coroner

  • @Metalhead121396

You never said you didn't like vagina, you just said you like cock better. Anyway, I'm just messing with you, though I really don't see how you could favour Slayer and Exodus musically compared to Coroner. It doesn't make much sense. Both Slayer and Exodus, in regards discography, are extremely stagnate and uniform, whereas Coroner are more progressive and adventurous. I guess I just appreciate Coroner much more than either Slayer or Exodus, because I, as a musician,

  • @AugustinusHipponesis

focus on the musicality and technical ability in Coroner's phrasing, compared to the more simplistic and repetitive phrasing heavily utilised by both Slayer and Exodus. The only variant in both Exodus' and Slayer's music is production, and I find that hugely unsatisfactory within a band. There's a huge difference a signature sound and just recycling the same riffs over and over again.

  • @AugustinusHipponesis

    difference between*

  • @AugustinusHipponesis i see where you're coming from, and i acknowledge that you have a point

i may change my opinion down the road about Coroner when i become a better musician (i play guitar, but only started 11 months ago), but as of now, i prefer these bands (by just a bit)

  • @Metalhead121396

Yeah, you're pretty good for 11 months, man. You need to learn how to do bar chords, though, so you don't have to twist your hands all up when playing thrash riffs.

  • @AugustinusHipponesis thanks; ive been working on barre chords and sweep picking, but im still having trouble with them

  • @Metalhead121396

The thing with barre chords is that you have to let the weight of your arm add most of the tension to the strings. Just let the weight of of your arm press down on the neck, instead of let all your fingers do the work. Sweeps are another story, just learn certain arpeggios along the major scale; ionian mode, once you learn them work on your picking technique, hammer ons, and pull offs. It'll take you a while, but if you keep up a goof pace. You should get it, eventually.

  • @AugustinusHipponesis

    in regards to

  • Artillery is also an good euro thrash band !

  • whats the singer like?

  • @PinkPantherPunk He's also the bass player. He isn't a melodic vocalist, but, while many people dislike his vocals, I think he is perfect. He has a biting rasp and snarl to his voice that fits the music perfectly.

  • Definitely one of the most underrated bands!
