No there's just the right amount of nightlife and people without it being over run or seedy! 15palm bar, sabai bar, paddys palms are great nights out and that's just on white sands beach! total different vibe down lonely beach!

You will forget Pattaya mate once you have been to Koh chang! My favourite part of Thailand!

How far is this from Pattaya? Is it possible to do a day tour from there?

@MrDampkring If from Bangkok it takes about 4 hrs

Koh Chang is in the west side but Pattaya is in East side

@messie1616 You should look again. Koh Chang is in the far lower portion of Thailand. As far south east as you can go before going into Cambodia.

Just coming back 3 days ago. I live @ Tiger Hut, Klong Prao Beach, very beautiful when the sunset and the good thing is it's very cheap around 300 Bth for Low season. Miss it so much and lookin' for comin' back soon ^ ^

Heute in 14 tagen sitze ich im Flieger Richtung Thailland. Die ersten 4 Tage verbringe ich auch auf Koh Chang. Wenn ich die Bilder hier sehe dann gibt das meiner Urlaubsvorfreude noch so nen kleinen extra Schub. Sind wirklich fantastische Bilder

i just came from tailand i staied in koh chang for a couple of days and the strage thing about the beeches there is that you can t see them they are all private . they have hotels in frond of them exept this one .there are a lot of waterfalls thow
