  • i guess it would be horrible to cut 30 minutes out your cocktail time to boil real potatoes.

  • I agree - as I said on another channel, you can still bake a couple of spuds in the microwave in the same amount of time suitable for mashing for a fraction of the cost. Just score two potatoes, wrap them in kitchen towel, bake for 6-10 minutes, scoop out and mash. And a damn-sight fresher too.

  • These cost $4.50 for a 24 ounce bag which makes them $2.25 a pound. Russett potatoes at my store run $1.29 a pound and Yukon Gold (the BEST masher) is on sale for 99 cents for a FIVE POUND BAG. Money saving? Her advice will land you in the poorhouse. Also she boasts about the potatoes being peeled. Well with no peel you can say goodbye to a significant source of fiber and vitamins. So not only are you paying too much for these, you need to buy vitamins as well. Brilliant.
