You think college is tough? Try basic training in the USAF. Granted it was'nt as hard as BT in the USMC, but the mind games are still the same if not better.I did'nt think I would graduate after being recycled. I'm told they have stress cards now that a trainee can hold up to get a training instructor out of their face if they are feeling too stressed. That's an option that I did'nt have back in 1991.
Joining the Army was a huge one. Not only the whole change of pace/change of atmosphere, but a giant culture shock. Not only that, but suddenly I was working with all of the jackasses and jocks I hated back in high school (oh, you guys are still torturing insects, huh?). But I met some cool people and made good friends. Plus I'm out now, and it was a all-around good experience. Extreme change forces you to adapt and grow as a person, learn more about yourself and how to interact with the world.
Great video! You play a good dude! I mean a bad dude. I mean a good bad dude!
Ahh, college life. New surroundings, new friends, new responsibilities. Dorm life is a lot of fun, but at times....eh. Being homesick is perfectly natural. Mostly goes away as you get more involved with school activities and new friends. (Hmm. Just think about the folks at school from other countries.)
Yeah, it looks like you're doing great! And if they don't get your humor, you'll always have fans on YouTube!
I really enjoy watching you talk about whatever's on your mind, and I've been longing for you to throw in some characters and skits too. From your earliest videos, I knew you'd be terrific at them. And you did not disappoint. Bravo! I can't wait to see more characters and more skits in future videos as you find the time to develop them.
I had to be in a sanatorium, some sort of resting place up high in the mountains where aren't any housemites, which I'm allergic for, for six months. I knew nobody over there and I wasn't allowed to go home, since I had to stay above 1200 meters or else the treatment wouldn't work. For me it was only scary the first couple of days, but the homesickness took much longer.
Good luck over there!
cheers,
Vincent.
PS: what are you studying? I assume mathemathics is only one of the many courses.
Starting my current job at the beginning of this year was pretty tough for me, a little scary not knowing what i was getting myself into... i work with people that have mental and psychical disorders, it can be quite challenging as some of them are very difficult to work with but then again it quite rewarding at the same time
nice video
