Yeah there were lots fakes, bad acting and dialogue but its the cars just love it for the cars.

It was a 350 Monaro used in the film but a second one a 6cyl used in the stunt... It was a Valiant used in the end crash... there was a few Falcons used, one was a GT the others were clones...

the movie was full of fakes .. the yellow monaro that rolls at the start is a four door. they painted different doorlines and stuff in the rollover seen. it's also a 6 cylinder cos the bonnet comes off ;).

@12badmired He's right i remember seeing that it was a 6 in the day, def a 6. Im not sure if its 179 though, but era/ model correct.
