At about 5:50 this music turns to what it means to dream and go through the process of redemption. The film was ok but this part of the soundtrack scores high points for serving the soul of the story.
This score was particularly effective. Is Isham pulling from a similar collective spectrum as Thomas Newman? Is the Zeitgeist formally asking for this highly percussive driven spatial environment? The really interesting point is the addition of what appear to be car subwoofers in several of the scenes throughout the movie. Isham mimicking them to great effect on several key emotional beats as well. The film commands multiple viewings in one day.
@agnernai I don't know which Thomas Newman's soundtrack is similar of this. Yes, i think the soundtracks and other music follow the "fashion", what tune like to hear the people nowadays. I think Isham is a great composer.

Mr. Isham was robbed of an oscar nomination for his score.
My favorite themes are at 2:30 and 5:50.
