wwc was awsome back in the day..now wwc is just crap but the old stuff is the best...abdullah was so under rated...if he was in better shape we would hear more about him..colon and the butcher had the sickest matches ever...
Wow! esos eventos pasaron antes el Aniversario 1997 como "build-up" del mismo. Chacho! Farmer Sam, quien es como Pulgarcito en sentido de condicion y personalidad, por poco nadie lo sabia de ese.
That's right. Carlos once said, " 80 % of blood i've shed in the ring is by Abdullah."lol Abdullah just retired in Dec., 2008 in Puerto Rico, which means the very ending of their long-standing bloody fueds for almost 30 years.
I agree with him lol. I think in non-US wrestling like WWC, Japan etc. they keep it bloody like back in 60,70 and 80's wrestling used to be. I mean there is 100% getting stabbed lol.
Looks like back then, Carlos appreciated that more red turns more green better than anybody else in the universe. Which was true in Puerto Rico. The singles matches between Abby and him filled up the ballparks and arenas with a crowd anytime and anywhere. Like it or not, you could never ever take both away from a bloodbath. LOL Abby, with a half-century wrestling career, always mentions Carlos when asked, " Name some of the best opponents you've ever fought." That quite makes sense, right. LOL
Yeah I know that! I guess cuz he was limited by his size but there wasnt any match where ATB "wrestled". I dont mean he kicked some1, some1 punched him back. He couldnt do much in the ring, even when he was smaller early in his career he did "trash wrestling". He knew karate but stabbing guys with pencils and forks was all he could do. But outside of the USA there are no rules so they get away with more.
Abby didn't "wrestle" but no doubt he drew a crowd with his "blood" in almost all the promotions all over the world. He was hated anywhere he went but we did "love" to hate him here in Japan.LOL He developed a unique persona in the ring and established himself. Have you ever heard about the most intensive feud, a legendary one, between Terry Funk and him from AJPW ? He hurt all over Terry Funk with a fork and a cracked beer bottle in the late 70's, which was quite awesome and spectacular !!!
Yeah I know all feuds, from back b4 I was born up til now. Ima a wrestling fan! Lol I'll watch any kind of wrestling. But not that mock shitty backyard crap where you see kids just with no skills jumping off gas station roofs and shit. I do ENJOY seeing WRESTLING overrall. Hardcore is ok at times too.

It's true that Colon and Butcher has feuded so many times for years, but one thing is guaranteed...their matches always end up a bloody mess.
