The old Maio games were hellishly hard, and it seems like you can never quite get used to them either. When I decided to play through the Megaman series, I was getting owned at first. But then it became second nature an I beezed through them all. (an yes, even Megaman 9) but when it comes to Mario, I get raped every single time.
That would be hard, really hard... And if you take the wrong ways... Then the lava is even closer to you! Or you load an savestate... But I don't really use savestates =D
Yeah, the lava would be interesting actually.. But then again, there are parts where if you mess up, then you're boned. If you do that and you're not using savestates, then it could be near impossible, assuming you're an average player. If you're good or used savestates, then you should do fine. xD It's a nice challenge though.
I wish I could try this level. I can't even get past world 2. >_>
Anyway, this last fight doesn't look very hard. In one of my hacks, you get 4 blocks so you can miss, but these 4 blocks are placed on top of clouds, and 4 ghosts are chasing after you at the same time. =P I guess the ghost house itself isn't very hard...
This thing is REALLY hard. You can't afford any major screw ups, and if you make two in a row, you're pretty much toast. That's saying if you're an average player. I'm exceptionally good at Mario games, so yeah. The boss battle isn't that bad. Just make sure you don't miss and break a block. Then you're boned. xD
Haha. I think I had to save state almost every 20 seconds on my first try. Sad, very sad indeed. But it's learning in my eyes. Once you learn something and how to do it, it's kinda hard to forget it. Or at least it is for me and games.
That was just amazing!!! I could never of been passed that level. That would take me a month if that was on the original nintendo super mario world. Nice job.
Oh, I agree completely. It would take SO much planning and a lot of maps and very little mistakes, as the game's not very forgiving if you royally screw up. As for me, it takes a lot of LUCK to get through this without save states. You have no idea how many times I managed to BARELY escape death or something when I was first playing this level. Lol. I'll give you a warning: Get double feathers until you hit the dark floors. Then always have a flower in your reserve, you'll need it later on.
Thanks. I think I could have done better if it hadn't had been for those stupid Podobos. Then again, where would the "challenge" be without them? It wasn't that hard, but it was annoying. Oh well.
I have a question about this world. What do the secret exits do? In the first level other than the star level where he tries to trick you I found the secret exit there but it done nothing but add some skulls
Ah. Well, if you think about it, you can't make a path to go backwards because you already have one. Other than the path backwards to let you go to the other levels, SOMETHING had to be done. All the other levels just re-open the paths.
Ohhhh thanks! Now I have another question. Where is the keyhole in big boo world 2? I need to get a star for big boo wolrd 6 and I found all the secret exits but that one. And I found the key already. Thanks agian.
Lol. I could, but there's so much responsibility, and I don't think I can handle all of it, and with my horrible memory, I don't think I'd do too well. Thanks for the positive thought though. =P You're the first person to say that to me. xDD
Oh, it is. I had to do this all on my own, and it's damn hard. You have nearly all the time in the world, each 25 floors gives you 999 timer seconds, which is enough to go through about 75 floors.
And you requested the video, so I did it for you. If you have any more requests, feel free to ask, because things are slow right now. :/
I know. The level isn't very forgiving for major screw-ups, but if you get hit once or something and you have some decent skills, you can recover from it later on, like I do.

You gain access to Boo's Secret. I have a 5 part video that shows you everything in there, so look if you want, but remember that it's a spoiler.

I finally unlocked Boo's Tower, and just beat it! ^.^
I heavily used savestates, though. Every other floor was savestated. >_>

Okay. It's good to see people figuring things out on their own nowadays. It doesn't seem very common, but at least it's something. xD

Dang. The whole level is one long marathon...finished up with a relatively simple boss:P
Pretty good. I bet I would mess up more though:P
