i think these appear to be the tricks used in makin older game characters appear tremendous on HD & gave them haste so that they won't bother re-makin that hard on makin em look good HD's
the title of the video says its a video about sculpting and painting enhancements. All I saw was some retopolizing. I want 6 : 33 minutes of my life back.
@JsMortis If you new to 3ds max, and use 2012 turn off auto-update in the uvedit preferences, it's on by default in 2012. It for some reason makes the editor crazy laggy on a model of only a few thousand polys.
Another bug is some odd lag you may get in a dense scene. Being in sub-object mode cuts out the lag, also turning off "freeze grey out" (in object pref) and freezing all other objects your not using stops the lag.

bleh.. conform tools need more love. Using Max and Zbrush with goz and projection tools would be faster and give back better results.

i just started 3d modeling fried my first motherboard, so gotta get a new computer, but i luv it, i preferre texturing but modeling is fun to
