I don't understand why you would tell people that masterfrost is still playable. You receive better numbers in a traditional build hands down. If you're not getting good results with a real build then you are doing something very very wrong or you are bad at playing a DK.
@cmitchell2442 The Obliterate priority does sim as being higher, however the sim assumes max procs and trinkets proccing of ICD. Also the way Blood Tap is done in the sim is almost impossible to recreate (since as the sim runs with an IBT virulence build)

this spec is quite pointless to be honest, he did 22k top on 2 targets (yes howling blast is aoe) and the "difficulty" of the rotation makes it even more pointless. don't waste time learning this spec it yields less dps and situationally is retarded. i pull around 36k in frost on H ultraxion and around 37k in unholy, all done with 394 equipped ilvl.
@Goochak47 Not sure if serious. First of all, his gear probably isn't very good. Second, he has no buffs besides Horn of Winter. Third, he didn't use a single cooldown, not even blood tap. Statistically, Masterfrost (single-target) is 200 DPS ahead of a haste build, while it also is yields much more DPS on AoE fights

@Raylol90 I see what you're saying about endless winter (free mind freeze), but the other talents in that tier are pretty useless too, unless you want to pvp or farm a lot.
As for the runic mastery, you get close to rp cap A LOT, the rp you generate is ridiculous, and turns out being more beneficial than extra range on HB. For heroics, there's not too many fights where you need to run away from boss, maybe morchok. in yorsahj, melee usually stay on boss because the enrage is so demanding.

Theres like 4-5 HC fights that you must move pretty much and the extra range on HB can be benefical.ex:Zon'ozz adds,Hagara Frost Pillars,Yor'sahj,Morchok,Warmaster drakes.
But that depends on your setup and tactic aswell.Anyway,your guide it's nice and probably it's for the people that focus more on normals.
@Devictur basically you want to get 1750 haste rating so your runes are on a 8 second CD and then stack mastery as much as possible, i am currently at 18.58 mastery and not v.good gear have 4 pieces of 397
